But not until the Summer, i was on the skysports website a few minutes ago and they had an article that talked all about the winger/strikers transfer to the Bernabeu. The press overheard and recorded the conversation which was held after El Classico. But the transfer won't be in the media because there is a clause in the transfer that says that it can't be confirmed until the start of the summer window. Here's the link to the article:

www.skysports.com/story/0,19...

Now i realise that i'm an Arsenal fan on the United board but i dont mean to cause any trouble. I'm not a bitter Arsenal fan, i am fan of quality football and i was secretley delighted that Ronaldo didnt get the move in the last window. I thought how shameful it would be to see Ronaldo in one of the most boring leagues in the World.

No Winding Up was intended i just wanted to inform United fans that the world's best player was "reportodely" leaving their club.

And Calderon said their interest in Ronaldo was over but added that it was "sad a professional with Ferguson's career can make such declarations."

not as sad as an entire club telling lies and spreading false rumours for a year, now that's sad.

Exactly. Don't get me wrong, Madrid is a great great club but they are becoming a farce. I know we've been guilty in the transfer market, so have all big clubs, but nothing on this level.

Wish we'd got them in Europe, they can sign all the Huntelaars they want but with that defence it makes no difference. Calderon is a mug

"Real a joke? 9 titles and Man U 2, and the last one lucky."

Yeah and they won most of them in the 1950's and 1960's when the competition was as good as the fifa club world cup when United first won it 10 years ago. Hopefully if we keep winning it then in years to come it too will get even bigger with more money.

Real have done little in the CL for a while now and there are more successful teams in England. Even Notts Forrest has won and retained the European cup, Villa too have won it.

Spains next best team Barcelona (best in terms of current form but not overall trophies) have only won 2. Are they are joke?

Man United are the champions of England and Europe, the 2 best competions in the world.

The scariest thing is that we may have to listen to these rumours for years and years until Ronaldo finally retires in Manchester.

Why is it some people just come on comments about subjects to do with Man Utd,(Especily Liverpool fans),just to s-l-a-g them off, with no construtive comments one way or the other.
My theory is jealousy pure and simple, after all though the Liverpool side that won all those competitions all those years ago was indeed very good, when they all got old the good old days were gone for Liverpool.
Sir Alex on the other hand has made a team possibly even better than the one that has so dominated England for so long.

I thought they were Arsenal fans but have you noticed when you try to look at their profile they're always being moderated for contravening house rules. Nice to see Ricky Sbragia doing the business at Sunderland.

What I would call sad is a club that can't accept that despite spending megabucks every year for over a decade they are pretty much washed-up in La Liga at the moment, whereas Man U have (at least technically) proved they are the top club in the world right now. To continue to assume that they have some sort of right to buy Ronaldo (as they seem to do) is arrogant and out of touch. If he goes, he goes. But Real should get real and drop the attitude. If he went to Real it really would be for "a new challenge" (that old chestnut) because winning things at Man U might start to seem too easy compared to at Real Madrid.

Respect my authority.

Totally agree. Do the words "What have you done for me lately?" mean anything to Real? It may have escaped their notice that MANU have done EVERYTHING lately. Not 100% on this fact but perhaps manu have done more in one season than Real have ever done in one seasons?

Of course Real have been great in the past, no one can deny that. But it is idiotic of them to act like they are acting based on past achievments. They say they 'deserve the best players and the best players deserve them'? I would agree if they were the best team. If they are honest and look at Uniteds current achievements and form, they would have to agree that Ronaldo is indeed exactly where Real say he belongs, playing for the worlds greatest team. The record books already show that. Its all about now. Leave history to the historians and the true fans, Real. Dont try and force your past greatness down our throats anymore. We are tired and we dont care and we certainly are not impressed with you today. Please learn finally that past greatness will win you nothing today and that includes the worlds greatest players. You need to be great today, for that.
