Transfer window hopes and fears

Premier League Hull City
comment on the article

Hello there

We're just putting together our January transfer window guide and wanted to get the thoughts of the Hull fans.

Is there anything the squad is lacking? Which players would you like to see come in? Is there anyone you can afford to get rid of?

Be good to hear from you.

We need players who will fit with the team ethic PB has developed, and this is something only PB can know.
I do think this excludes "celebrities" such as Michael Owen, no matter how talented they might be.
On a less serious note...
Now Big Sam is a Blackburn, and bound to make changes, I wonder if he will let us have Santa Cruz. (It's important to have a good looking team whistle )

The Chris Moyles show usually end their interviews by asking people what their favorite cheese is and if they like olives.

They once had Stevie G on and when asked what his favorite cheese was, he replied 'melted', you couldn't make it up winkeye

On a more serious note, I like the Leighton Baines and Possebon(loan) shouts, both would be great additions.

Paul Gascoigne, in a hotel on a pre-season tour of New Zealand, asked for bacon for his breakfast. He was told there was none available.

Gazza was most indignant.

"What? All the sheep in this country, and there's no bloody bacon?"

Cov fan in peace here.
i think its brilliant that you guys are doing so well in the premier league !!
in the words of keegan, " i'd love it, i'd just love it " if you got to europe this year, could just imagine AC at the KC. winkeye

who you could sign though, possibly Kevin Doyle and Stephen Hunt from Reading, they would be brilliant for you guys.

Our man Gunnarsson would be quality in the Prem but hes staying, so dont even try winkeye haha.

you could possibly look at Inzaghi, yes hes 35, but proved hes still got it when he played against pompy, also Kanu would be a good signing.
Theres a spanish guy, Pedro Leon, dont know if you've heard of him, he would walk all over the english league and it amazes me that he isnt here already, if you'se could nab him then your laughing!!

Good luck for the rest of this season and seasons to come, hope you don't do a Reading...

I think potent striker someone like, defoe, we dont realy have the speedy nippy centreforward, i think would work well with either king or cousin,

and a wide left player, sure we got barmby garcia and hughes can all play there, but someone with a bit of pace,

i don't rate Fagan!!

To continue the cheese gags....

What about former Middlesboro, R. Madrid and France midfielder Christian Camembert?

We need to bring in some fresh faces to the K.C, the squad is getting slightly stale, most players know whether they will be in the starting 11 or not. I personally couldnt care less if Marlon King leaves, Cousin is more than capable of filling his boots.

Hull City need a quick/nippy striker, we have enough big bullish players. We also need a passing midfielder, someone who can make something out of nothing. Gio has too much on his shoulders, and someone else in there may let him have the freedom that he craves.

Zayate should be used in Midfield at some point, everyone keeps saying how he is actually a midfielder,,, so lets see it. although having said that, we would need another competant centre back.

I think kevin doyle would be a great buy. He has proved that he has what it takes in the premiership and has the experience. Doyle and King upfront ufft! winkeye
