He was levels above the opponent, but that was impressive control. Very accurate.

Mind you the guy never touched him, so the jury on the glass jaw remains out.

Well done tonight Amir.

Amir showed on saturday that he is learning from his new trainer Freddie Roach. His defence was good and took his time with his counter attacks. I think losing some of the muscle/fat of his upper body has helped him and going forward he should improve his all round movement in the ring, his hand speed was more electric than ever and his timing was better aswell, must have landed 90% of the punches he threw.

People on here say that he wasnt tested on saturday but no one has doen that to fagan before so a little credit to Amir for that, but hopefully his next fight will be with someone with better boxing skills.

I still do not believe he should be on PPV but thats life i guess. Also sparring with the Pacman will only make him a better fighter and there were signs in both of their fights what they are working at. This can only be good for Amir and he seems to have his head back on his shoulders and not in the sky somewhere, a little more humble which too me seems lika an improvement.

Verdict: Good progress but still Work to be done.

Khan showed the training he's been having at Roaches gym has helped his game already, I liked the way he used the ring, defence was better, he even wrapped up the chap once which is something he doesn't do. Only thing is he still tries to counter EVERY punch?
What I will say tho is that that chap he fought was a nobody, soon as Khan steps up again I fear he'll get put back down, sure Khan has the skill to win a world title, look at Gavin Rees, if he did then my cat could. However, he'll never hold onto a world title belt for long as he doesn't have the chin.
Well donr tho Amir, its hard to get back in the ring after a defeat like that.

It honestly makes you sick to still see people bad mouth Khan after his performance Saturday night.

Get off the guy's back already, yes okay Oisin Fagan wasn't a top notch opponent, but regardless, when you get a kicking like Khan did, you need a fight or two to build confidence again.

As for his chin, he's built his defence up now, and at the end of the day one fight doesn't prove a glass chin. Any boxer on the planet can be leveled with the right punch in the right place. Give him time, he's only fought 20 fights now. Thats a small number compared to most, get a few more wins under his belt, continue to train as hard as he has, then get him into a Re-Match with Prescott.

As for his ego and the way he comes across, I would suggest those of you who complain about it look at every other boxer on the world circuit, look at their past Media conferences and see how many of them have NOT been egotisical, full of themselves, and often times derrogatery of their opponents, especially before a fight. Its part of the sport, has been for decades.

One thing I am glad about, the fight didn't last long, once again Sky Box Office got its fingers burned! 2 fights they've covered and have got a grand sum total of about 6 minutes boxing outta their contract.

Come back to freeview Khan, or at the very least onto Sky Sports, not PPV. Start repaying your supporters who have stood by you while you've been ripped to pieces over the past few weeks and months. This is the only thing I haven't liked about you, and I'm sure I'm not the only one of your supporters who feels the same way.

Well Done Amir, onto your next fight, good luck.

Amir got all the tools to make a great champion, but in all honesty i cant see it happening, his chin not the problem its all about desire.

All great boxers have come from humble beginnings this kid got all the toys while so young without really doing much apart from a Silver 'not even gold'at the Olympics.

I hope he becomes a real legend but cant see it happening boxing is a hungry mans sport, would like too see Amir in a British Title bout with-in his next two fight Murray Vs Khan would be a great ding dong fight.

Amir needs too fight his own way, cautious and boring will do if it means he gets the job done Mayweather Jnr made $100 dollars out of it.

His downfall may be that he wants too imitate Naseem Hamed and their can never be a Naseem Hamed true Showman, Dam i miss watching that guy fight.

Amir seems when walking into the ring always like a nervous kid dont like seeing him like that i like the David Haye ring approach oozing confidence smile on your face with some 70 dicso tunes playing now thats cool.

Amir Khan is a hyped up nobody who has only ever fought nobodies - why is it that the british public know more about Amir Khan than Carl Froch ? I know they answer but I cant say it !

=========================

What a nasty insinuation. Cant we all just be united behind the British fighters. Im a non white born here and I love Froch and Khan both. Some people are too narrow minded.

Why can't you say it? He won an olympic medal when he was just 17 shooting him into the limelight and making him a household name. Carl Froch didn't..... what's so difficult to say about that

Well it took Calzage a whole decade to unify his division lol. He is a joke outside Britain, but in Britain he is treated as one of the best in in this generation.

Khan should take his time, he has the tools, just needs to get the discipline
