I think that it's a great draw for everyone. Derby get a crack at United(rather them than us) and we get capital Punishment 4. I would like to see a good games all round as an advertisement that the carling cup is not the mickey mouse cup and should be taken more seriously. I think Man U 3-1 Derby on agg and Burnmley 3-2 Totenham on agg.

why does most people think Burnley will beat Spurs? There only a championship side if theye where that good they should of been in the Premier League years ago. I like it when small teams do well in cups but i think IF Burnley Did beat us then it would be just like the FA Cup final- rather boring.

I think the obvious is going to happen
Spurs v Man U Final. Or i can just hope Spurs v Derby if there very lucky.

By then i think we should have a decent keeper smiley

COYS!

The semis will be one step too far for Burnley. Hopefully Derby will scrape past Man Utd with a display of grit. smiley

Well, I can dream!

surprise surprise, I knew it would be burnley/spurs before the draw. hopefully burnley will thrash them, if they can beat arsenal they can most definitely do one over on them. we can hope so anyway.

Spurs are now clearly very concerned about the thought of playing Burnley with all this talk of bringing Keane back (although he would possibly be cup-tied) and buying a new keeper (who would also no doubt be unable to play in the tie). Money doesn't buy you team spirit and despite Burnley's obvious lack of finances it hasn't stopped them competing with the so-called big boys in the Championship this season and in my view won't stop them reaching the Carling Cup Final either!

Burnley to prosper 3-2 over the two legs!

I think we'll beat Spurs - if we can force a draw away we can take them out at fortress Turf Moor.

I think it is really sad that people could be against the romance of the cup. I don’t think Derby will have a sniff against Manchester United, it could end up with a 10 – 0 aggregate score, but what if The Rams could somehow play 180 minutes of resolute football and by some miracle sneak past the Premier League Champions. Burnley have a real chance of beating Tottenham, they are sharp going forward and Gomes (well, Tottenham would be better off with Gomez Addams in goal) is pretty weak and Burnley ‘could’ maybe beat Tottenham, a Burnley versus Derby final would be a wonderful thing, but lets face it, it is unlikely to happen, money buys success in these times, Manchester United and Tottenham have it, Burnley and Derby do not. Tottenham versus Manchester United final for me I’m sad to say.

It's a very predictable draw, would of been nice to see Derby take on Burnley.

Burnley have been good this season, but this is Spurs only chance at european football next season - there going to go for it.

By the same token Chelsea-fan this is Burnley & Derby's chance of European football too.

Since the ties are over two legs you'd expect the big boys to prevail. Smaller teams have more of a chance over 90 minutes.

In my book, Burnley are the more likely to get to the final; they're in better for than Derby & know they can beat any team from London!
