absolutely brilliant again. No doubt he'll be dropped for Wayne 'Couldn't Hit a Barn Door' Rooney on the weekend....

True fans talk about a teams weaknesses and where the team can improve. Blindly stating that "All our team are WICKED" is when you start to underperform. Do you want to end up like Arsenal?

---------

Theres a difference between talking about your own teams weaknesses and insulting one of your own players. are you tell me that saying ' wayne couldn't hit a barn door rooney ' is talkin about one of our weaknesses ?

that's what am talking about, Tevez is a great player, all he has to do is, play , he has shown his talents , hope he doesn't move to real madrid.

i can understand why rooney starts.
1st off, 30mil for a teenager..
fergie has a point to proove and dropping him would make out SAF has made a mistake..
and 2nd, although its been rare, but starting to happen again.. he can change a game in an instant!

berbatov however, as you can tell by my username, i dont feel should be included in the starting XI regardless of his pricetag.
often, he just looks bored, and i cant recall him challenging for a second ball once!

tevez deserves a place, for his work rate, and the fact he smashed in four the other night.

berbatov really has a point to prove, show the genius quality he has, rather than just being lazy!

I'd say stick berbatov in defensive midfield for a month so that he learns some work ethic.

For home games, there is more license to play two up with one just in behind, whether it be rooney or tevez, but that is for after berba has been deployed defensively for a while.

True, United may lose games if berba is DMid, but then we can all shout at him and berate him till he learns to do something other than being an expensive luxury.

This problem would never have arose if we'd let him sign for city, I say fergie should offer him to them in jan for 119mill. winkeye

I think Berba is world class. His passing can be quite unpredictably incisive. Man U have operated without a natural, predatory No. 9 for some time and I think Berba fills that role quite comfortably. But I agree he needs to crank up his work ethic. At the same time, I don't rate him a waste of money.

Tevez is a bundle of energy, boundless vim, and has a repertoire of belters. His work ethic is admirable. I feel Fergie plays him less and that frustration can get to anyone. Less playtime means skills going rusty. So I can understand why he seems to make Man Utd disjointed sometimes. Notwithstanding that, the man is a great asset.

Rooney's presence on the pitch--just his presence--is enough of trouble for teams. His all-round approach is a valuable gift. Yet I've seen him put out an indifferent display at times. His performance in the unfortunate stalemate with Villa was languid. He wasn't running for the balls the way he normally does. In that game, he should have been benched early in the 2nd half for someone with a lot more steam. I guess it was a case of match fitness that day.

In conclusion, I say Fergie should retain the triumvirate of front-liners he has in Berva, Rooney, and Tevez. He has to ascertain which mix works the best and for which games. In the PL, you need all the backup support you can get. It's a long and grueling odyssey and players along the way get injured, sporadically lose the luster of form, or shine brighter than the stars. So give them time folks!!

Anelka's goals this season have been amazingly lucky and have come against poor teams (this is a chelsea fan)
How you can say Tevez has no "creativity" is totally past me. If you see Anelka do one thing creative next match i'll personally give you all of my money.

Anelka's goals have been lucky, that's a lot of luck mush! Tevez is good, but United have to justify Berbatov's purchase by playing him regularly. Tevez isn't happy about this and simply wants regular appearances and a contract. United will have to add to their considerable debt to do this. Anelka has been operating up front on his own without any real quality alongside him. Malouda and Kalou have been hit and miss and Joe Cole seems to be constantly injured as for Drogba, well lets not go there. You make your own luck and Thank god Anelka has made his own. Tevez is a mouthy little git and has grown balls after scoring against blackburn. It galls United that Chelsea and Pool are ahead of them, without Evra united have lost their most consistent performers, albeit an aggressive one as is the case with Ferdinand, Rooney and the other whingebags and petulent brats Ferguson has moulded in his bitter image.

Rooney on his day is unplayable, there isnt a weakness in his game. As he gets older his form will stay for longer and heel perform at his best more, remember how young he still is
