It was a decent game, that could of gone either way. In the end it came down to quality finishing from Burnley and the Arsenal youngsters being wasteful in front of goal(not to mention a standout performance from Brian Jensen in the Burnley goal!).

Arsenal tried to play their football but rarely did they click into the kind of form we've seen in previous rounds. Credit must go to Burnley who actually put together some great stuff and were a magnificent advert for the Championship.

As an Arsenal fan I can't have any complaints, I'm glad Arsene uses this competition to blood our next generation. They played some brilliant Football along the way but as I've heard so many times this season - 'with youth comes inconsistency'. Maybe thats true, who knows?

I heard McDonalds only 20, good on the lad - he certainly showed consistency in front of goal tonight...

Anyway I'm waffling! So I'll finish;

Glad Burnely won. That will bring those bunch of over rated wayne kerrs back down to earth with a bump.

That was a bad mistake on my part.

The comment about the stamp on Vela still stands though.

How can a manager make eleven changes to his last line-up and expect the fans to take him seriously? Arsene Wenger is an idiot! The FA needs to take a look at this and determine why he is not fielding his best team.

How can a manager make eleven changes to his last line-up and expect the fans to take him seriously? Arsene Wenger is an idiot! The FA needs to take a look at this and determine why he is not fielding his best team

The fans DO take him seriously. And it seems this weakened team has done consistantly better than most teams in recent times.

So zip it eh! You wish you had youth as good as this.

Far too many idiots on here that think they know better than Arsene Wenger.

Nice to hear a Burnley fan actually come out and say that they rode there luck. Personally I think Jay Simpson should have started - he at least would have buried the chances Bendtner missed.
