Financially the best option would be for Hide to go the WBC route. Warren's gonna pick an easy opponent for Macc so he should retain the lightly regarded WBO belt. Even though a bit long in the tooth, i reckon Herbie's good enough to take Fragomeni. Thus lining up a nice unification fight for next summer!

I would love it if Hide got the chance he was terrible last time out against some eastern European with nearly as many defeats as wins, Hide was really slow and laboured.

Enzo would surely win this, very much doubt it will be Hide stepping in, any one got a idea who it might be at this late notice? Do we know if the WBO will still sanction this?

chrissydalziel (U13035769) why hate Enzo granted he’s never going to be topping anyone’s P4P lists but he is a decent honest fighter with genuine power and with the standard of the cruiser weight division I think he could clear up.

Put Maccarinelli up against Cunningham and he'd have his head boxed off. Cruiser has NEVER been a division that's had the cream of fighters - even when Gomez was cleaning up he was rubbished. Now he's WBC no 1 contender at heavy. I don't know why, but the Cruiser division is just not liked. Maybe I should lose a few pounds and go clear it up myself? I'll take on Herbie first, once he's beaten up Enzo...

MIXthe, So Enzo isn’t an ‘Honest’ fighter to me that means someone’s not the greatest but tries hard, unless you are calling Enzo a liar, I don’t know him personally so I cant comment. Don’t really understand your point.

Hide took the fight against Lukasz Rusiewicz at the last minute hence the fact he wasnt in great condition and didnt look great, but he still won every round.

I think he took the fight at last minute because Hennasy has got him the fight with Fragomeni and wanted to get another fight in before the new year.

Fragomeni is a hard, hard man who has only been beat once and that was after 9 rounds of David Haye bombs. He looked like he could walk through walls that night. However he is 40, he isnt a massive puncher (which will help Hide obviously) and isnt a great technical boxer and has only 27 pro fight so in that sence with Hides experiance i would expect him to take out the Italian late on
