GUYS CALM DOWN!!!!!

1)Right, No-one dislikes Khan because he is Muslim. It's because we have seen the easy ride he has been GIVEN when Fighters take nearly 30 fights to achieve the status he got in 2 Fights....
2) Everyone on here LOVES Boxing, we dont discriminate, you are either Good or Rubbish, whatever colour you are...
3) Muslims are not the BEST Boxers, If you count Naseem, Ali (Who became one) and Khan it's a pretty shallow argument.
4) Khan would NOT beat Hatton, he struggled against Michael Gomez, who I happen to know and he said he wasnt as good as his hype and was convinced that if he was in the same shape Five years ago he could of beat him, because Khans chin isnt strong enough..

Part of the reason people dont like Khan isnt Khan, It's Frank Warren, because yet again we see his Boxers fighting BUMS while ITV big them up...Yet idiots swallow it and we are forever arguing against it....
Do I hope Khan becomes World Champion? Dont Care...I will watch him though and yes because he's British will want him to do well.....
No-one likes seeing Failure in any of our Sportsmen....
We dont like being asked to swallow crap either...

"to be honest most people not liking him has nothing to with ppv its the fact he is a rich and famous british pakistani, thats the truth

Nothing to do with him being a over hyped chiny bragart then?

Khan got a lot of undeserved stick after losing.

Racists and ignorants aside, there was still unwarranted criticism.

Khan did something stupid in boxing, that is walk into somebodu with no defense. I dont care if you have the best or worst chin in boxing, the way he walked into Prescott, anybody would have been KO'd.

Khan has the speed and tools to go far, but he needs disciplin when it comes to defense, and to not get carried away

what was his excuse when a non puncher like limond knocked him down? or when a blown up super feather like gomez hurt him and had him down? and before the prescott fight we heard how he was almost ready for pacman then prescott (who hadn;t beaten anyone of note) has now been repackaged as the worlds hardest hitter! yet still his camp come out with idiotic statements eg he can beat hatton in 18 months or so

when will khan fans admit his big mouth his camps daft boasts rather than his colour religion and race are the issue

I'm a fellow british pakistani fairly local to amir's hometown of Bolton.

I think the majority of people posting are not racist. There will be the odd one or two - the leaked BNP list demonstrates people still hold racist views in the UK.

Bottom line is he's ripping everybody off. I will probably pay the £15 for Manny and ODH, however sticking Khan in the mix is offensive!!!!

After the knock out, the best thing Khan could have done, would be to go back to basics, and have a couple of recovery fights.

Going onto PPV just proves how greedy him and Warren are.

Thank you ImranKhan.

Finally someone who sees sense, unlike the couple of WUMs on here who when we criticise a fighter who happens to be Muslim, it is because he is a muslim and therefore we are all racists.

The only reason I don't like Khan is the way in which he's been able to amass a fortune without earning or deserving it yet though part of that has to be put down to his family and Frank Warren for ripping off the public with this PPV nonsense.

Time will tell if he is worth all the hype and money. I doubt that he is, but all the best anyway. smiley

lets get back to boxing here.

I can see khan falling short in the first few rounds, prob suffer a minor knockdown, before coming back and winning by stoppage in 8th round.

anyone care to share their perdictions?

What will happen for the next few fight's is that Khan will fight nobody's build himself back up then maybe take on someone who will give him a bit of a test. You can't blame the lad for who he fight's those decisions are not made by him, as for him making loads of money fair play that's the name of the game some are luckier than others.

He is fast and can be exciting to watch but if he doesn't learn a good defence and apply it then his career will not last long.

FACT - ODLH vs Pacquiou would be shown on regular SKY if it wasn't for Khan's PPV deal.grr

Expect to see many more PPV 'bundles' with Khan 'co-staring' with genuine top-class US events. This is the only way SKY and FW can make cash whilst honouring their 20 fight PPV contract with Khan.

Kahn is a good boxing, very good and good to watch but I agree when he gets caught with a big one he looks dodgy.
