hello
arsenal fan in peace
i am just wanting to know what you think of today
and about drogba
if chelsea had drogba it would of bin a different game
the guy runs arsenal ragged every year
he was suspended i think
but you need to keep this guy
best striker in the league
anelka caused no trouble today for arsenal
he might be topgoalscorer but drogba is the real deal
but if he was to go i wouldn't mind him at arsenal =D
don't worry about today you are still going to beat liverpool for the title and man u
good luck for the rest of the season

I am too supriced at your willing compliments to our bitter rivals. If the facts are true or not. Drogba is a good player un-deniable but do not EVER wish luck to chelsea in the season .

The question is not whether Chelsea should offload Drogba but whether the guy still has the heart to play for us anymore....I'm not sure he does. So in this respect he could quickly turn from an asset to a liability. His partnership with Anelka hasn't worked so any replacement needs to be compatible with Anelka. What about Eto'o? or swap Drogba for Adriano? or even go for Heskey!?? City, Villa and Liverpool all want Heskey and the guy is underrrated. One way or another the Droga situation needs to be resolved before christmas otherwise it could damage Chelsea's title challenge.

At the end of the day no player however good they are is bigger than the club. Nor is any player irreplaceable. When Zola left people said we'd never be the same again - instead we went on to win back to back Premiership titles.

Scolari MUST call 'clesar the air' meeting with Drogba. Why hasn't he does this already?

Nxt summer one of Chelseas's priorities hasd to be a new top class winger....what about Robben? I think we should re-sign him. It's no coincidence that we've not won the Premiership since he left. The guy was awesome and combined the speed and terrier-like style of Duff with the more languid and technical ability of SWP, Robben was (and still is) a truly exceptional player. The question is would he ever come back to Chelsea? I think he would flourish more under Scolari whereas was kept 'under control' more when Mourinho was manager.

I think Drogba was a good striker. The lay off from injury has done, think, terrible damage to his career. Also the latest suspension.
He needs to leave Chelsea to rediscover some form for the little number of years left in his soccer career. Period.

I think it may be time for Drogba to move on.
In his cameo appearences this season it has become quite clear that he no longer wants to play for us and he has put in minimal effort.
As for the game against Arsenal on sunday, i thought we played well in the first half and could have got another goal and perhaps would had if the linesman had gotten a few "debatable" offside decisions correct. But as for the second half after Arsenal scored their two goals (by this time it was apparent that it was not a very good game for linesmen)we never looked like getting back into the game, this was not due to the fact that Arsenal were playing well it was because it seemed we had lost our passion and desire to grab and equaliser. I thought Deco gave the ball away cheaply time and time again and that one of the issues Scolari needs to address in January became clear in that we need more talent on the wings as Malouda and Kalou do not have what it takes and Deco is wasted out wide. I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Frank Ribery join us as i think he is what the team needs as a winger. If we were to re-sign Robben i think he would spend more time on the physio table than on the pitch like he did before and is doing at Madrid.

I think Drogba will come back strong for the second half of the season when everything is decided. He has a big point to prove to all us Chelsea fans out there. As will first other first-choice players like Essien, Carvalho, J.Cole...

I don't think Drogba is as great as some people overemphasize ..not especially this season so far. However I do not really mind him staying at Chelsea, but Anelka is the major problem. Simply very uneffective ...ignore the PL top scorer table - the table is a rather good handiwork of the midfielders (lamps et al); Anelka should try to improve or exit in January

SherrifJWpepper - I never said that Heskey is my first choice IF Drogba is sold but implied that if Drogba is sold and Chelsea fail to get either Adriano or Eto'o (or even Fabiano) then yes, Heskey would (and should) be the next choice. Firstly, he's english, knows the premiership in and out -so wouldn't need time to adapt to the english game, and has played at the top level before (with Liverpool). I also think he would work with Anelka. But Chelsea should aim to get either Adriano or Eto'o and only then turn attention to Heskey if they are unsuccessful with the other two.

End2

So what you are actually saying (& I can't believe i'm reading that really) is the after Eto'o Adriano & (Fabiano) you think we should go for Heskey at No4

You are..aren't you..

Well entitled & opinions & all that..but Jeez HESKEY..!

Words fail me frankly

Tell you what..start a thread on that subject on the Chelsea boards..lets se what reaction it gets

I'm prepared to eat humble pie if others agree with you - & can give a good reason why
