Tigers : 2 Points Dropped

Premier League Stoke City

In my opinion the Tigers dropped 2 points here, not gained one. At least that clown Lawrenson was proved wrong YET AGAIN. Roll on the KC for the definite 3 points. STILL 6th and STILL above Stoke ! enough said.

just got back from the game! i know its not Stoke's fault but the reffing was plain awful! cant comment on the penalty cos we were up the other end so didn't really see it but the inconsistency was teriible! and booking Deano was just stupid! he was in Delap's way for the 1st one but was about 15 yards away for the one he got booked for!!

Can see both Hull and Stoke staying up this year to be honest.

can't comment on the Fuller penalty, as i sit in the family stand so will wait for MOTD, but as for the antics of lardy boy windbag i was perfectly placed. First time he took advantage as to his locality to Delap, but was about to head back to the dug out afterwards and stopped, looking for and got a nod to stay there. Say no more eh.
Mind you if thats all they can use him for how about loaning him to us, just what we need to block the corner until the new screen goes upsmiley

I thought a draw was a fair result. Fair enough, you had more chances but i thought we had more of the ball in attacking areas but didnt do anything with it. I just thought we were poor all round today but still got a deserved point in my opinion.

Im not going to start on the referee nd officials performances - dreadful, worst i have seen in a long time, for both teams.

Just want to point out tho that i think stoke ran out of ideas a bit today. This is not a dig at you but we dealt with the long throw threat very well, apart from the odd occasion, and i just feel that you maybe need something different on the bench to change the game. Liam lawrence can do this but when he is busy tripping over his dog you dont seem to have anyone else to do it.

cityhull8
did you note how many times the officals looked at each other for a nod as to what decision to give.
If we're both still doing well at the half way stage come Christmas, theres going to be a few nervous chairman going off their turkey on christmas daywinkeye

Not sure what game you were at today cityhull8 but you had one attack of note in the first half and scored from it a minute before half time. Certainly for the first 15 minutes you were penned in and around your own penalty area and we were so inept that we couldn't take advantage of it. Yes in the second half you pushed forward more but again around the penalty area I wasn't really worried. We only really started playing in the last 20 minutes - we actually started to push forward, close Hull down and get stuck in - we then started to look as though we would score.

Windass deserved to be booked, he was obviously under orders to do what he did so much so that he actually walked step for step with Delap as he walked down the touchline with the ball to get to the right place for the throw ... thick or what.

How on earth can Dean Windass get booked when he was just warming up?!

Players should only get booked when they are on the field and not off the field!

lawrence_321 - OH MY GODDDDD!!!

I was waiting all night to see that AMAZING throw in (" which is better then Rory's") and it finally come near the end of the match!!

Well well well well, ive never seen a throw in like that

NEWS FLASH................

The distance that Rory throws them balls in isnt the only reason it has atractted some much media attention.... its how he does it... and i think Hulls man needs a bit more work on that throw in haha
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm afraid the jokes on you my friend, the player than can apparently throw further than Delap is Michael Turner and he didn't take any of the throw ins on Saturday.

He never does, we need him in the box to be on the receiving end.

Never mind, I assume if half your goals come from one form of attack, it's best to hope no-one else can manage it.
