Well I saw that one coming, did anybody else?

Same old Albion, should be 10-0 up, lose 2-1.

Chins up lads, you didn't deserve to get beat today, played some really good football too. Not sure where it all went wrong for you, you could've been out of sight before we got a lucky equaliser.

Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Hi fireyMoosse....sounds like you and I are pretty much in agreement....so why am I taking 'garbige'? But you do need to be a bit more constructive rather than just calling everybody and everything 'useless' or 'rubbish'. That's not going to get us anywhere is it!

Well frankthethostle what else would you call them, you have seen our goals against at the moment, I wouldn't even call those players average, let's be polite then and say they are not suited to the Premier league and move on to what counts. Mowbray cannot spot a decent footballer is the point I was making, he spent £20m in the summer and on what, may I ask? So would you trust him to spend anymore in january, I think not. Let's bring in a man who can spot good players, Allardyce is the man, he will save us from the drop. Because I tell you one thing, sgould we go down again, we will never rise again, we are falling further and further behind. So act now, Mowbray is sticking to his principles, WBA will be here long after he ahs gone, but exactly where will we be.

Allardyce would be a disaster.

He doesn't have the players to play the brand of football he would want and most Albion fans would resent him changing the tactics and still losing. I for one would be extremely disappointed if we went down that route.

The players are not rubbish either. They are low on confidence and the breaks are going against them. Most of our players are good enough for the prem, unfortunatly we failed to address key areas in the summer and that is coming back to haunt us. Give the team all the support we can through december and hope we can pick up a win or two and then see what the transfer window brings. The link with Haman would be good and maybe Manucho from Man U.

We waited 15 years to watch a team try to play football and we shouldn't give up on them now.

Kind of agree with abirdinthehand. Just got back from the game and it's the same people making the same mistakes. Carson's had nothing to do except save a regulation free-kick and pick the ball out of his goal twice.

The problem is the midfielder's. None of starers today are clinical finishers, or look like they can weigh in with 10 a season which is what we need playing the formation we do. Morrison and Brunt had 1 v 1's, Morrison and Greening had chances which were blocked. A clinical finisher would have put them away. We had Tex on the bench and five single-paced midfielders who play mice neat pattens but don't look like scoring. Some old storey.

I'm behind what Mowbray is trying to achieve, but if he doesn't start learning from his mistakes, I'm not sure how much longer I can support him and Venus.

Hope you guys can pull it together, really enjoyed watching WBA in the Championship last season playing some attractive football, playing that sort of football in the Premiership was a risk but fair play for sticking to your principles, get a striker in Jan and a defender or 2 and you may have a chance of survival. Wigan fan in peace

I visited this board recently - because (and I'm not a fan of the team) you guys are doing my head in. Good performances, no results......

Surprised to see talk against Mowbray. To me it's obvious he's got your team playing good - sometimes even great - football. What you don't have is a decent striker (or two). When you're missing that component, you're in trouble the whole time.

But then, look at Wigan. In October they were down in the dumps, now they've turned it around.

Mowbray though - I like him. He just doesn't have the money available.

Thought the attitude of some our fans yesterday was pretty disgraceful. You can't blame Mowbray for the way Chris Kirkland played. He was awesome.
Look at the table. Fourth from bottom is still achievable and thats what we should be aspiring to. Bit depressing maybe but thats the reality
