TOM SCUDAMORE

comment on the article

Would just like yo say what a ride from Mr Scudamore today , i backed air force one and was gutted at the result . After watching the closing stages again i was amazed at the bottle shown by Scudamore to go for 2 massive leaps at the final 2 jumps.

GREAT RACE

and kingdaniel please dont start your Sam Thomas threads again dude

i must say when i read the paper this morning and i sore Madison Du Berlais at 50/1 i dropped my tea all over because i knew that he was better thn most of that field. Tom Scu gave him a great ride

Big Bucks really gave Sam Thomas a big blow didnt he thts 3 big rides hes messed up on Kauto Star, Gwanako and knw Big Buck's. No wonder Nicholls' hair going more grey

Hi Rainbow View, recognised your username having just posted on an earlier thread. Hope all sorted now?

Yes, Scudamore and Madison Du Berlais, what a ride and what a surprise - complete outsiders but fair play a good genuine win.

With regards Sam Thomas, he is not having the best of luck this past week. However, I don't think BB would have won, nor a place, he was flagging and the way he shook ST off him looked to me as if he had had enough - just my thoughts anyway.

On a final note, I saw today on CH4 the race where ST did a single/double somersault over the fences. Funny to watch, but on a serious note, makes you realise what these jockeys go through.

You have to hand it to Tom Scudamore, two years ago i thought he was a clown who fell off at the drop of a hat, but he really has pulled himself together and improved out of all recognition - has to be in the top 10 NH jocks now, i would have thought.
I think David Pipe deserves praise for Toms improvement -giving him the stable job when there were plenty of others after it, gave Scudamore the confidence he lacked previously.
Seems a nice lad too when interviewed, so well done TS!
