Too easy for the mighty Saints

Championship Reading

Thought it was going to be easy for you against the schoolboys of Southampton, didn't you! We played you off the park. You are shocking and you should be in the Blue Square Premier League. There is only room for one good team south of London and that is Southampton. We are Southampton, the pride of the South, we hate the scummers that come from Portsmouth (and Reading). Better luck next time, beating a team half your age. How are you near the top of the league. You played like a bunch of flowers with no water for 18 months.

sorry, disagree, we were in control for last 30 mins, the fact we scored on 60 suggests it wasnt the last 10 minutes. still, we were under par the whole game, didnt deserve antyhing from it

Ok my mistake. I still do feel that you had a good five-ten minutes after your goal in which you scared the living shit out of us, but after that it was pretty even. The few minutes leading up to stoppage time and stoppage time itself was all you though and I have never been so worried at a football match in my life!

yeah that was always gonna happen - i think had you not scored the 2nd it might have been a different story - but rosneior had a trorrid time at the hands of BWP and he deserved his goals. whilst we did have lots of possession towards the end you could sense you lot werent gonan be denied the win. fair play, that first half of football was miles better than anythign any other team has played at the madejski - you reminded me of us when we spanked swansea or sheff wed - but again our defence did jsut hand it to you on a plate

anyway, if you play like that rest of the season you will be safe

So one poster, remember that one poster has been on here posting a ridiculous article and in response ALL Saints fans are maligned.

LoyalRoyal212 posts 'But some fans (plural) (BeyBlade) (one poster) are taking it a bit too upthemselves and saying how poor we are, in a disrespectful way.'

I have read some of your own forums and many of your fans have been very gracious in defeat and have complimented us on how we played.

I am a little confused at a couple of you using the 'S***mer' word. A term used by those mentally challenged Pompey fans. They are our local rivals.

When you played them last year were they referred to as the S*ates? Just wondering.....

You have been taken in by that old chestnut.

Southampton Docks were at the time this none strike was supposed to have occured a 'close shop' when it came to Unions, one out all out.

Where as Portsmouth Docks is a naval port, not allowed to strike.

There are no records of a strike that Southampton did not take part in. It just doesn't add up.
Where that term came from I can't tell you but please don't be fooled by that old 'myth' purpetrated by those from the Dark side.

yeah ok ok, i will apologise for my comments made just got bit angry at the post from this southampton character and no i am not one of these so called unloyal royal fans, i have been going ever since our days at elm park when we were a very average league 1 side. just got bit carried away with the anger of our own performance. I do take back majority of my comments and as i have said we did not deserve to win and you made us look like a sunday league side. I dont have anything against southampton aswell, it was just a angry moment, lol.

Thank you for that, as 7 said this 'fan' isn't a regular on the Saints board, in fact first time I've seen something that he/she has written- so take it with a huge pinch of salt. ok
