Everyone accuses Gallas of being a problem. The real problem at Arsenal is Arsene Wenger, the only manager in the history of the game who refuses to strengthen his side.
Thanks for keeping the cheque book in your pocket, Great, anyone can now have a go at us and beat us, comfotably home and away - SACK WENGER NOW

Arsene Wenger needs to strengthen his squad full stop. His attitude is similar to FIFA's. They stubbornly refuse to use video evidence or goaline technology when there is overwhelming support and sense to use it. And Wenger refuses to buy and strengthen his squad when there is overwhelming support and sense to do that.

I just feel sorry for Fabregas. he has given years of loyal devotion to the club and for what?
if he leaves, it will be a massive blow for us but he needs to in order to enjoy his career. a player of his talent should not look back on his career and find only international trophy wins.
you cannot play for 4th spot each year and expect to hold onto to the likes of cesc. why play in a team with song, toure, HOYTE(??!!), Bendtner and ALMUNIA (??????!!!!!) when he could go to madrid/barca and play with the likes of messi, van nistelrooy, xavi, iniesta, Casillas, Ramos, cannavaro, van der vaart, schnieder - the list goes on and on.

Stephen Ireland is definitely at the top of his game right now. Too bad he has to behave like a circus monkey after each goal he scores. Show a little professional class Mr. Ireland, if possible.

lets not panic. Lots of injuries has shown the need to have a bigger squad, but realistically most teams would struggle with 9 players out injured. A good defensive CM would be what we need in January, to allow Cesc to move forward and offer greater protection to the back 4. But who is out there? no point throwing money away for average players, leave that to spurs!

With comments like that no wonder football fans are looked down upon. Throwing money away mid season on the panic buying of new players is going to help the club how exactly? Perhaps I'm missing something but what exactly is the financial benefit between coming 1st or 4th in the Premier league? Lets say Wenger borrows 1 billion pounds and buys every good player in the world. Would I enjoy watching them play every week? Not at all. I may be in the minority here but when Arsenal chucked the Tottenham game away by playing for a goal rather than the corner flag I was delighted and proud to support an entertaining team. It aint just about insulting the opposing fans and being validated by the scoreline for me I'm afraid...

Man city will finish well down the table despite this result, Bridge will not be allowed to sign for them and Terry will laugh at any approach. Mark Hughes should consider his options as Chelsea may look to him the future. Robbinho will tire of mediocrity and bail out next year...The door is always open

To paraphrase an old saying, 5 months is a long time in football.

I was just looking back at the last time Arsenal lost in the Premiership and found this thread. It's interesting to see who said what.
