Sorry chaps,

I think TM is making some glaring mistakes. I support him fully but he is showing his inexperience.

Why on this earth are we playing 1 up front and playing with a defensive intent? As many of the "positive" people on here kept telling me "wait till we get to the games where we have a chance before we start judging / being pessimistic". I think we have arrived at this point. If we lose to Stoke we may as well pack our bags and look forward to the Championship.

If we cannot beat Stoke, who are we going to beat in this league?

Sorry but taxi for Mowbray if he keeps making these glaring tactical mistakes.

Pathetic.

Stoke were very poor today even with half a team, think it would have been a different story if Ricardo had been playing. I dont think WBA have changed anything from the Champonship, still playing the same style, need a few stoppers at the back , thats the difference between Stoke and WBA. Yes a bad game for Stoke even though they won easily at the end.

Dont know what the statement means "can't even beat Stoke". Just have a look at Stokes home record , far better teams than WBA have lost at The Brit.

Also when you say 'Cant even beat Stoke', do you mean just today, or also the previous 5 attempts both home and away where we have beat you 4 times and drew once. 2003 was the last time you beat us, shorly you should start preparing yourself to loose, when you play us..... or for the few optimistic WBA fans left, mabey next time it will be 7th time lucky eh?

Worrying thing is that Baggies have been bottom of the table since early November and the season isn't over until late May ie are we going to have to endure six months anchored to the foot of the table! The problems in defence and mid field could be (largely) mitigated if we could score some goals....and the win the matches that we should do against the weaker sides. All those fans who were saying that Phillips wasn't worth a two year contract must now be feeling pretty stupid. It was clear last May that the only player in the squad capable of scoring in the Prem was KP but, not only was he allowed to leave, but he was not replaced. And now we are trying to survive in the Prem with forwards who are (at best) Championship standard. I've been supporting the Baggies for 46 years now, and I hate the merry-go-round of managers, but I'm afraid, if they are still bottom in two months time then Mowbray will have to go.Currently there are some teams in the Prem who are no better than the Baggies in terms of skill/ability, but they can produce some cutting edge stuff when need be. Baggies are a million miles from that amd I'm beginning to think that Mowbray is living in a dream world if he thinks that they are 'back to back wins away from a mid table spot'....who's he kidding!

And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse - you get the woman commentator on MOTD. Unlucky.

No fire power. That's the biggest problem. As mentioned by other baggies fans, letting KP go and not replacing him was an obvious error. I'm sure KP would have put away a lot of the chaneces we've had in some games (Hull game for sure).Peace made a big deal about how much money had been spent pre-season, but this was to maintain what was essentially the side that got us promotion. I think we all know by now that you must add some extra quality to any newly promoted squad. Both Stoke and Hull have moved on, which means we have gone into reverse compared to them. I'll blame Mowbray for the tactical errors (formation) and playing style but ultimately it's difficult for any manager who is unfortunate enough to serve under Peace. I'm sure we have the money to spend in Jan but I am already willing to bet that Peace will not allow Mowbray to bring the right players in. Lets not pins our hopes on another lucky great escape. I hope for Mowbray's sake that we can string a few results together.

WBA fans, it's time for a reality check. Yes, Tony Mowbray is a super nice guy, but how many more week-ends are you going to listen to him saying "we just weren't good enough" or "with a couple of breaks, we could have won" or something to that effect?

WBA needs change at the top and fast. I'm afraid that they may have already booked their spot for the trip to the championship, let's hope not!

MOWBRAY OUT, ALLARDAYCE IN, Come on Baggies, let's get rid of Mowbray now. He is clueless in the Premiership, just like Megson and Robson before him. We need an experienced manager fast. Mowbray can't spot a good player for his life, look at all the useless buys so far. McDonald, Moore, Miller Beattie, Sluraski, Barnett, Donk, Cech, Meite, Martis, Tiniho, not one of them any good for the Premiership all bought by Mowbray enough said. He always talks up the opposition before games, even Stoke, that's not motivating the players or fans. MOWBRAY OUT NOW!!!

Why was Tony Mobray going on about Stokes size of the pitch at the Brit, shouldn't he criticising his dross team has he called them on the BBC.
