In closing the oly thing i would not like him to inherit from walter is the lack of youths getting a chance

MapleRidgeBear (U13688901) posted Nov 21, 2008 Ally definetely deserves his chance. Everyone at Newcastle wants to see Alan Shearer come in and this is no different. Ally would put that winning mentality into our and at the end of the day that is exactly what you need to win the SPL. And when ally does get the job I'd like to see people like McCall to come in and I'd bring back Graeme Souness to help out. Get people like Durrant and Hateley more involved with the first team also.

TheGovanBear (U9330221) posted Nov 21, 2008 I'll sit on the fence with this one, ally was the fans altime favourite goalscorer and a popular guy in the dressing room much so I could'nt see him being strict enough with his mates to kick their arse if need be.I'm maybe wrong but I would rather go for someone like big Tel and take all the hinges of the doors first. What do you all think?

BroxiBoy1 (U13709173) posted Nov 22, 2008 We need Rangers people through and through with the finances the way they are, someone who can motivate what is not the best group we have ever had. Coisty is a legend, he is doing and saying the right things now and Walt is the best tutor he could hope for. Durrant with him, formidable!
