Classic Selections.

Yes it is next year but I love finding value of potential Classic winners, this year I got, Henrythenavigator (16's), Look Here (50's) (along with Miracle Seeker which didn't impress) for winners and got 2nd with Tartan Bearer (33's). My stinker ante post bet was Sense of Joy for the 1000 Guineas and almost made it up with Nahoodh on the day and the mentioned Miracle Seeker.

So far I have not put any bets on but I do have my selections who I think are very good value and are in order how I regard them to win.

2000 Guineas:

Mastercraftsmen (O'Brien) (11/1)
Naaqoos (Head) (10/1)
Zacinto (Stoute) (20/1)
Finjaan (Tregoning) (33/1)

1000 Gunieas: Meh no point.

Derby:

Fame And Glory (O'Brien) (20/1)
Sea The Stars (Oxx) (10/1)
Sirgarfieldsobers (O'Brien) (50/1)
Thespis of Icaria (Stoute) (100/1)

Oaks:

Leocorno (Stoute) (33/1)
Rainbow View (Gosden) (7/1)

I think Naaqoos for the 200 Guineas. Rainbow View should clean up all fillies races next year.

Didnt follow the flat to any great extent this year but until he got caught out by horrible ground on his last start i thought ARAZAN looked a particularly useful 2yo with the scope to do even better as a 3yo.25s for 2000 and Derby, reckon you could do a lot worse.

I don't think Naaqoos has very much chance of winning the Guineas at all, he didn't seem to have much left in his G1 win and Mastercraftsman ran well below form, I think his win at the Curragh on heavy over Shaweel could have finished him off, it was a very hard race for a two year old on totally rubbish ground that they shouldn't have raced on. I'd prefer Mastcraftsman.

I think the 2000 Guineas will be won by an improving horse and one that is not at the head of the market at this point. I posted a similar article to this a few weeks ago and I named Rayeni, for John Oxx (25-1), Mafaaz (33-1), Alwaary (50-1), and Lord Shanakill (25s?) who must not be written off.

Kite Wood and Taameer interest me in the Derby, the first two from the Autumn Mile, and also Freemantle.

The Guineas I think Rainbow View will win, see you have put her up for the Oaks. I do not think she will run in the Oaks, and the reason is because of Mooakada, another Gosden filly who travelled almost as well as Rainbow View did her maiden, before being nudged to a 2 length win (that was well worth a lot more). She has already been earmarked for the Pretty Polly and the Oaks. 33-1.

Wouldn't back Ante Post on Gosden fillies, some never race at 3.
