Am I being churlish in saying that a mjor factor in these two teams getting here is their abikity to 'bend' the rules or in other words cheat?
I'm not saying we would have beaten the aussies but on the first try we were penalised for holding down ridiculously. THEN they dropped the ball at the play the ball. The third try wasn't a try; he didn't have control of it. The Billy Slater try, late on was a forwrd pass. It reminds me of Meninga's shove on Gibson when australia retained the ashes and Laurie Daley's try in Australia when he knelt down at the side of the play the ball before taking a pass to go over. There are many others. As for New Zealand their dummy runners obstruct derfenders persistently as do the aussies. They aren't dummy runners at all. The aussies invented this ridiculous bit of cheating as well. In the semi-final Westwood did give away two stupid penalties but when I think of Mason's late hit on Long. The game that I love has gone mad. Maybe when you are on top you get away with it.

perhaps they should play the All Blacks against the Kangaroos, that would be a more even tussle. The kiwis can do it but they have to cut out all the silly mistakes and not miss a tackle in the whole game.

Surely this has to be the most pointless World cup in sport. There was only ever going to be one winner and Australia will keep winning it if it continues in the future. We need team GB.
