I amy not be a swindon fan,but i live about 20miles away.I have been 2 many home games in my defence so i kinda no wht ime tlkin about. If Boothroyd does get the job is it fair 2 say he might do a wise, takes the job does a good job and then a big team wants him and then hes gone.I think the best option for Town is 2 go 4 Ward.

The trouble with Ward - yes he's got the experience but appears to be a Mr Steady to me, and may lack a bit of flair.

aidy boothroyd, i completely understand people not wanting a manager to use our club as a stepping stone but i think he is too good of a choice to turndown

You are dead right Armchair you could not be more so if you actually were John Ward. He did nothing for Carlisle Utd in terms of moving us forward and although we had a good season last year, it SHOULD have been so much better, and this season his bird has come home to roost , so to speak.
BUT please take him on ,he is a good man, and it could save us a fortune if he gets another job sooner rather than later.

John Ward may be a "good man" but a terrible manager, as a lifelong Bristol Rovers fan I actually stopped going to the gas when Ward was the manager it was the most boring football I have ever seen

Holloways your man

The thing i don't understand with John Ward being the so called 'hot favourite' for the job, is that he's just recently been sacked by a club in the same league as ourselves. Now what i mean is that if he's not good enough for a team at the same level as ourselves, why on earth would we want him?
I'm no Mr Negative (Apologese if it sounds like i am!), but it just seems a bit strange that's all.....If he does indeed get the job, then i'll support him all the way, however.

Hopefully we get Holloway! His interviews are awesome! :D haha

Just get the money out and try for a big name manager!!!!!!

We don't need a run of the mill manager again !!!!

Hoddle, Poyet or Russell Slade from Yeovil
