We all know what his past is. If you's don't like the way he was dealt with write to your local MP to have a word with the prime minister who may change the law for you. Until then get over it, he been punished now he's trying to redeem himself. He and everyone else knows he's in last chance saloon and if he messes up his life is over, over. I bet you're all angels huh? Thought so.

cowboymartin (U13255651) posted Nov 17, 2008 No bio chelsea, you are wrong. The crime that Gary Glitter committed should be a life improsonment AND he wasn't convicted in this country remember? It's easy to get on Joeys back. You don't think he should be in football, that's your choice. Hoever, he is and that's what you need to get over. No matter how much you bleat on about it he is in football and is likely to be so for quite a while yet. Remember John Terry being charged with affray and assault a few years ago? Yes your precious John Terry. Look at him now, people change mate, sometimes after one chance sometimes after five, doesn't matter, as long as they change it's good right?

steeley3 (U13698859) posted Nov 18, 2008 Ok well i'll admit first off im a sunderland fan! So as you can guess i'm not too bothered that Barton's injured, and yes he SHOULD be banned still. HOWEVER, as a human being he should be given another chance, i dont believe the bull he says about being a role model he should just play his football as he plays it. Respect to the mags for standing by him although as usual they were a bit soft on him, i somehow cant imagine keano, ferguson or scolari taking the same stance! Either way 2-1 :D Comment on this article
