Gautam Gambhir(70),Yuvraj Singh (118) and Yusuf Pathan(50*) set a target of 292 in 50 overs.Staurt Broad took 4 wickets and bowled magnificiently.England opener once again failed,as they added only 6 runs until Bell was brilliantly run out by Raina.Owais Shah (58),Flintoff (43) and KP (34) were the only players who tried to fight back.9 wickets were grabbed by Indian spinners while 1 was run out.Yuvraj was the surprise package as eh took 4 for 28,Sehwag 3 for 28.India lead the series 2-0 and England team is being dominated as the margin of loss have been 158 and 54 runs.

Pearl, the big difference is Yuvraj, however there are many performers .
Gambhir - 2 * 50
Sehwag- 1 * 50
Yusuf Pathan- 1 * 50
If you mean that yuvraj buuble will burst at some point,it may also happen that other Indian players who are due for a 100 will score one.Hope Freddie KP repeat their performance so that we ca have a good game of cricket.

Sachin: 417 ODI's.

Pearl,

Yuvraj has always performed against England. Yuvraj has matured as a player and Yuvraj is the only difference? What about Gambhir? Sehwag?

@ pearl

guys..England wont be at the races.

3)India are unlikely to lose a game unless a bookmaker determines it should be so...i.e Cronje so dont start any rants back.Indian booker makers will ensure they dont get stiffed if they are likely to lose a fortune on a 7-0 result

Pearl you crossing you limits ok.....u dont have any rights to talk and involve stupid issues which u r trying to focus on.

I think the 2002 England batting may not have been as high power as KP and Co but they were solid

As an England fan I'm frustrated at how the selectors fail to take their strongest team to the sub-continent. The ECB felt it was a great idea to send Monty to India to learn and feel the art of spin on Indian soil, and yet they fail to select him for the ODI's. Arguably the best spin bowler in the UK, a match winner as proven against Australia, and someone who can spin the ball better than Yuvraj and Sehwag (who have taken many English scalps so far in the 3 ODI's). In the 2nd ODI, 8 wickets were taken by the Indian spinners. Everyone in the country is aware of the boost Monty brings to the squad, especially when he takes a wicket. Before most of you come back about Monty's batting and fielding - he has proved to have made significant improvements in both of these areas and I can name a number of current players in the squad who have made significant errors in the field and failed to score with the bat. However, select Monty for his wicket taking prowess.

EthicallyFair
You have a very good point about Monty.

You only have to look at Raina. His fielding is absolutley brilliant! BUT he hasnt done much with the bat.

Monty's fielding is very poor but his bowling is very good. Maybe the failings in the field can be forgiven and use his bowling skills.

guys so bitter wheres you famous politeness gone especially you starn and who made you someone important.

Its opinion. If you dont agree try making a mature statement or is the mature bit beyond you.

I agree with the guys about the others.England have made a total horlicks of this ODI tournament and have handicapped themselves by doing crazy things like batting Bopara at 8.

It cannot be any coincidence that Bopara,Shah and Patel have played with some degree of assurance and their scores reflect that..and they are from anglo indian families. Is it a genetic thing about playing spin.

As I predicted (I am a qualified NCA copach by the way) the wickets in Sri Lanka and now India have shown the flaws in several Englsihmans technique.

Fast bouncy wickets get you into poor habits regarding "moving you feet".Tendulkar is like a ballet dancer when he moves into a shot and whilst English batsman get LBW when a ball is on and around middle and leg, Indian players cash in and slap it to the boundary.

The bowling attack "weapons" are seam and our spinners are pie chuckers in comparison to Singh.

With Denly,Key,Foster,Napier all regarded as good ODI players our answer was to leave them out the sqaud as Moores selected his mates like Prior who is technically bereft as seen when he missed a crucial leg side stumping.KP is a green horn captain and we will never know now what could have been.

Ethic..totally agree about Monty. He could be a handful as a bowler but if we get to number11 the games done anyway and his fielding is so so but you dont put him in the firing line.

I love the comment that there is a better England team at home.

If only they were picked.
