Sunday's Premier League action

Premier League
comment on the article

Afternoon folks. So, how are you all feeling after yesterday's feast of football? Not too bloated hopefully

I expect some Arsenal fans are chewing over their defeat by Aston Villa, plenty of Manchester United and Chelsea supporters are licking their lips after seeing their teams record convincing wins...and young Michael Mancienne is still digesting the news of his er, somewhat surprising, call-up to the England squad. Did anyone see that coming?

Only two games today but both of them are intriguing clashes. First up is Everton v Middlesbrough at 1330 GMT - both teams are unbeaten in four games and could climb to sixth with a win. Heady days indeed.

Then at 1600 GMT we have two teams seemingly heading in the other direction as we head for the KC Stadium for Hull City v Manchester City - both sides have lost their last three Premier League matches and I have a feeling that, even if they return to winning ways, the Tigers' players will not be celebrating by heading to a casino tonight...

Plenty for you to get your teeth into then, and you can follow all the action here:

And all I ask in return is your usual top quality banter on 606 and via text. Deal?

Yeah as a city fan I'm shocked that many fans have booed both geo and corluka. They both gave all they had for city and didn't ask to leave they were pushed out. Even though Vedran was already a spurs player playing for city earlier in the season he scored in the prem. and scored one of the pens in the UEFA cup, good luck to both of them, even if geo did score against us today, it's are own fault (and the refs)

Some great games this weekend. Hull vs City was a cracking match today - Hull play some really good football, full credit to Phil Brown.

No good games today, probably Arsenal v Aston Villa was the best on Saturday. Next match that will be one to watch is England v Germany!

Certainly a feast of Football
A great shame however that Scotland werent able to defeat the Springboks so close yet..... mmm and Ireland not quite in the hunt agin the All Blacks..we all thought it would have been closer and of course England too came up short against the Aussies..Was great for me as a kiwi to see the League team win and there was of course some great Soccer matches on as well..In NZ the final of the Under 15 World Soccer Yep a feast of footie and may it long continue
Cheers

Now that Arsenal have lost again, everyone is questioning again! For goodnus sake stop, last week it was back on with the win over man u, but now its not, Im an Arseanl fan and I really dont think we can beatLiverpool or Chelsea to the title but all we have to do is trust in Arsene look at the talent coming though, just be patient and it'll come.
In Arsene we trust.

that was a one off against aston villa!
all arsenal need is a defensive midfielder like alex song, everytime he has started alongside fabregas arsenla have won. and he also needs to stop starting bendtner whos is not good enough for a team like arsenal. he also needs to buy martins.
