HE NEEDS TO SORT IT OUT

comment on the article

This is an absolute shambles at our team. Arsene Wenger you are a great manager but you cannot continue to live off your reputation. WE HAVE MONEY. Spend it!!!

I'm so annoyed today it is untrue, Denilson, Diaby and Bendtner are nowhere near Arsenal quality.

SILVESTRE! He should not be ahead of Kolo Toure or Johan Djourou for that matter. Regardless of what you say of Gallas he is a decent defender and should be with Kolo for these games with pacy strikers up top because Toure is fast, yet Stoke away it should be Djourou with Gallas.

Wenger bought Silvestre to give experience to a young squad.

The Gunner defence can learn from him, he used to be part of one of the best CB combo (with Ferdinand) before Vidic came along

Stop slating Silvestre just because he came from OT

Mate i for 1 aint moaning about silvestre , he has added stability, its just that he got a 2 year contract at age 31 when wenger openly said it was the clubs policy not to do so as in the case of bobby pires

To say we're in a crisis this season is dumb but our current situation does make me nervous when looking at our future long term. Overall I think we are fortunate that this problem is happening this season and not next. Prediction - Arsenal will finish 4th. Probably 6 - 9 points ahead of 5th place after a late surge, maybe chasing 3rd place, but 1st and 2nd will be a spec on the horizon. I'm not being negitive but come on, look at the table and then what its gonna take to catch the leaders up taking into account their current form and ours.

I dont think there are any other teams that will have the consistency to break into the top 4 this season but 2009/2010, man city, spurs if they can build on what harry has started(i cant believe i'm saying it) and maybe villa will all be nipping at our heals.

the inconsistent performances we are witnessing remind me of how we were two seasons ago, u could see the potential but we hadnt completely clicked.

last season should have been it but due to a few major unlucky indicents that went against us it wasnt - these things happen. what is crucial is that if we are ever gonna achieve anything then we must hangon to our players once they flourish. i will be more than happy for us to play the way we do at the moment if i can be smug in the knowledge that when and it is when not if, this team hits top gear in a couple of seasons, the players are not poached under our noses from other clubs.

wenger doesnt need to spend, just focus on keeping this team together. losing the players he did last season is by far the biggest mistake he has made.

'Possibly some reinforcement is required but at the end of the day it depends who's available and how much cash we have to spend. On the latter, only the board and AW really know'
---------------------------------------------
Well I think the announcement was £30m this year and £40m last year...doesn't seemed to have got through to AW does it? erm

Honestly Emirates, listening to you you'd think Arsenal had 22 top quality players who are going to run through virtually anyone...wake up youth and exuberance without quality experienced players to go with them equals inconsistency and no major trophies, so it doesn't look like thing's are going to change.

He got lucky? Are you kidding me, you clearly have very little knowledge of Wenger's past. Don't make ridiculous statements like that if you have no understanding of it. Wenger knew about Henry and Vieira since they were kids and from Monaco. Do you call snapping up Theo at 16 and turning him into a first team international lucky? Wilshere, we bought him early..Ramsey, we bought him early too, and oh, I think he just got a CL goal and he was only on for a few mins! Aside from that, I see Bendtner as the main issue. I was at the Villa match and I was amazed that someone with so little understanding of the game was starting..AS A LONE STRIKER. He can't win headers when he's 6"4+ or something, and he wasn't even getting in the box. He was leaving that to Nasri and he was still winning headers and he's under 6"! We need one world class striker, wouldn't have minded Eto'o TBH. Wenger is not the problem, I would not welcome any one other than SAF because no one else is worthy. Unbeatables? I rest my case :D

wow a lot of anger towards Arsene, personally i think he is the second best manager to manage in the premier league sith only Sir Alex topping him, i just dont get why some Arsenal supporters cant accept that some days you lose to a better team and Villa simply outplayed them, that concept seems to be have been lost since we overanalyse everything in football these days but sometimes great teams will lose and thats it

I wasnt saying it to you I was saying it to the Author, who whinges that (and I quote "SILVESTRE! He should not be ahead of Kolo Toure or Johan Djourou for that matter. "

Yes I agree Kolo is better than Silvestre WHEN FULLY FIT, but Djourou?????? No way.

Plus, you cant expect Kolo, Gallas and Silvestre to play the entire season. They need some sort of a break, and as they are all top quality Defenders, they can rely on each other not to falter for Arsenal
