Scouring through the comments I notice a common pattern of high praise for Ronaldo, and rightly so but why not Fletcher?

Yes Ronaldo's goals were crucial but Fletcher's tigerish display for the best part of an hour allowed Utd to dominate the midfield. Granted it was men against boys in terms of ability.

Utd in his absence this season have looked lightweight in the engine room. He really has upped his game this season, bodes really well for the rest of the season.

100 GOALS coming up very soon in the Premier League, he needs only 1 more season! Unbelievable record for a winger 101 in 253 games and he has only been playing in the Premier League and Manchester United for 5/6 seasons!

Fletcher has played well this season. He has really helped us forget Hargreaves' injury. However Ronaldo is becoming like Fergie in his importance to our continued success.

Must Agree With Alan A Few Comments Before. I Was There, And Fletcher Ran The Show In My Opinion, For The Best Part Of An Hour. And Deserved His Standing Ovation. He Will Be Key This Season.

Xcept Fletcher has now pulled out of scotland squad because of old knee injury flaring up and last time he was out for six weeks because of it.

Look at Thierry Henry's record though.

Ronaldo - 74 in six seasons

Henry - 174 goals in eight seasons.

Ronaldo needs 50 a season if he's going to surpass Henry's record.

What are you on about. TH is a striker where as
Ronaldo is a winger. there is a difference
