I find it odd you're predicting wooden spoon for Wales this year. In the last four years Wales have had two grand slams. Maybe Wales won't win a grand slam again - two on the run may be regarded as greedy! But don't knock us too hard - you might fall over.

look, we played with 12 changes from the boks match. When a team plays together for their first ever time expect basic mistakes (although admittedly not that many). Only 1-3 of those players can expect to start (Powell, Yapp and Halfpenny), maybe 4 if Hook s injured and Biggar has to play. I was encouraged by the start are new no.9 played last night but would rather see Peel start on saturday (just because he's more experienced and is rapidly hitting form).

I expect a AB win but by no more than 12 points.

After the 6N win a lot of people warned the welsh that it will be same old wales, no improvement, no strength in depth, no chance of beating a SH side, no chance of competing in a world cup.

Everyone will be out to beat Wales in the 6N, esp Ireland, France and England, and judging by current form, recent performances, strength in depth etc, Wales are gonna be struggling to avoid to wooden spoon, AGAIN.

Wales dominated South Africa in the 2nd half and just weren't clinical enough, so fair enough we JUST lost.

We put out a second team against Canada, didn't play well, but still won comfortably!

I don't understand the knockers, I really don't. It is in all probability, jealousy.

Aussies did well today didnt they, not playing at their best but still winning comfortably <smile>

To be fair, Scotland put up a hell of a fight, fair play to 'em like.

Right, to begin with, I'm a proud welshman but have lived in england for about 8 years now and I know teenage english rugby fans that wouldnt come out with something so immature and obviously ignorant as tarts v robbins came out with.
The fact is the wales first team had a great match against the world champions and were unlucky to lose but thats how rugby goes.
And yes tarts is right, the final result of the canada match was meaningless as it holds no meaning to the future of welsh rugby as I wouldnt even call it a wales second team out there against canada, I would call it an experimental team that gatland put together to see if there was any of the inexperianced/uncapped wales squad that deserved a chance against the two remaining big teams.And like everyone else has said this wales 'second team' still won comfortably, despite what I will admit was a pretty awful performance.
I dont think a comment like that was necessary so early on in the autumn tests, I think we'll make our minds up at the end, considering england had a considerably worse defeat today at the hands of australia compared to wales' close unfortunate defeat at the hands of the reigning world champions.
Only another two weekends then maybe tarts will be entitled to coming out with another comment like that, but I doubt it.
And looking at the england team at the moment, I would say they are possibly the weakest uk team, but to be fair to them johnson has gone for a new look young team so only the 2009 six nations will tell...

Some English guys are worried about the future of Rugby in Wales. Thanks but we don't need you to worry about us. I was on plnaet Earth earlier this year when Wales won the Grand Slam, and there also three years ago. We'll worry and celbrate for ourselves, as I suggest you do!

Deal with it? Deal with what? Wales beat Canada but not very convincingly. We have to deal with that? I think you should deal with your own woes before telling others to deal with theirs, What a stupid, idiotic and childish comment!
