I remember...we had that great run of results...but it came to nowt in the end and we wound up 3rd. This year, let's hope for a better end to the story!
"The 3 that Rafa won were on the bounce, I think."On the bounce, do you mean consecutively? I think he won two consecutively, I think it was during the 05-06 season and one in 04-05, at a guess.
"Benitez has been named manager of the month four times, but has a long way to go to catch all-time record holder Sir Alex Ferguson, who has won the award 21 times in his career."---------------------------Says it all....."No, not really. Ferguson's been established over a period of two decades with Utd. Benitez has had four years and counting. Wenger has 10 over a period of 12 years with Arsenal. In terms of staying the longest in getting the most, it does say a lot. Benitez has more or less just began in comparison. The coincidence goes further when you notice Mourinho won it 3 times, how long was he at Chelsea?.....
Ferguson is the record holder for the most manager of teh month awards.----------------------Actually you should check your facts before making such stupid statements.Actaully the record holder is Brian Clough with 26 manager of the month awards followed by ''Sir'' Bob Paisley with 22 in only 9 seasons. which means bacon face is third.

From London with love.----------------------That is teue,Brian Clough held the record for most manager of the month awards(26),Bob Paisley was just behind him on 22.Blinkered united fans seem to think that ferguson is the first to do everything including win three trophies in one season.Wrong again if they check their facts correctly that award goes to Joe Fagan manager of Liverpool (1984).

The BBC article is say:"The Reds won all four of their league matches, in the process ending Chelsea's 86-game unbeaten home record, scoring eight goals and conceding six."Surely this should say 'conceded 4' as it's impossible to win all 4 games and only have a goal difference of +2.Sorry to be padentic...
Its actually scored 8 conceded four.liverpool beat chelsea 1-0 thus none conceded.Liverpool beat man city 3-2.Two conceded .Liverpool beat Wigan 3-2.2 conceded.Liverpool beat portsmouth 1-0.None conceded.2+2=4 not 6,were you not taught arithmatic at school?
