How, indeed?
sadface
Though my heart is heavy, I have to congratulate Pakistan on winning a close thriller.
ok
I hope the WI are not too down-hearted by the loss....

When you've suffered as many defeats as the Windies have, it's easy to let this kind of defeat get on top of you.

Brilliant victory for Pakistan considering the turmoil in home soil and the loss of so many players like Inzy, Mo. Yousuf & S.Akhtar etc.

Hope this is the beginning of a new era in Pakistan cricket.

Its a long time since Pakistan won a series or something and it wud be nice if they cud do it against a very solid WI team.

Entertaining & thrilling game - Credit to both teams - There is still life in the 50 Over game.

Because the Windies have a history of not holding their nerve in a pressure situation, particularly in One day matches. For the last twenty years or so, i've lost count how many times they've blown a winning position.

At this present time i'd be confident in backing the boyz to chase a total down, but they still haven't got the discipline, in the field to defend a competitive total, unless they're in total command. If it's touch and go, more often than not, they would self-destruct.

Can anyone tell what channel they are showing these games on?

Damn! Kamran Akmal is not worth being in the team. He is not even a good keeper, if he hit few sixes in one out of 100 games he played so what.

Another looser is Afridi dose anyone remember when he scored his last 100 or 50 but I am sure if he dose make one in the near future everyone will be saying wow Afridi is a great player. To me he is jus a show off!!!

Most fans say Austrailia, South Africa and now India are great team but why are they great what make them great team...Need to think !!!

I'm assuming that they're being shown on one of the Asian network channels. Akmal and Afridi may be inconsistant, but are worth the gamble in pressure situations.

Australia, South Africa and India are not great, but are better teams collectively because they make less mistakes than the other teams. England should be up there as well, but blow too hot and cold.

kukoo77 i watched it online and i totally agree with you on both points. akmal is an awful wk and Afridi gets a quick 20 then gets out

akmal keeping has ability did drop overnight a few years back and still hasn't returned. Still jopeful it will come back one day although looking more and more unlikely. One thing he has going for him and a big plus is that his batting in crunch situations is brilliant not just in this game but throughout his career.

As for Afridi - batting is inconsistant, always has been but he is Pakistan's best 1 day spin bowler and has been for about 3 years - caling for him to be dropped is out the question.

Wish he would replace butt at the top.

Im not a Windies fan but

what about the ICC Champions Trophy you won from nowhere vs England in 2004.

Lets not forget that was the one of the best day in West Indies cricket for such a long time considering you were totally destroyed, demolished, butchered, humiliated in the test series both Home & Away. Losing 7 of 8 Test matches vs England is just despicable.

I sometimes wonder why WI want to play 4 test matches vs England knowing they will lose and give pathetic figures like 7-12 to Harmison.
Imaginewhat C.Walsh, C.Ambrose etc must have felt when a bowler like Harmison get that sort of figures

West are still good but cricket in general has improved all around the world.. In every match comes a moment which an experienced team sees and latches onto to ensure victory.. Experience is limited in west indies cricket.
THANK you for coming and Playing ok
