Wasps expiring contracts this year!

European Wasps
comment on the article

I have today worked out a list of players whose contracts run out this year at wasps.

- Cipriani
- Haskell
- Rees
- Flutey
- Voyce
- Vickery
- Palmer
- Ibanez (retiring)
- Possibly more

What are your guys thought on this, becasue i think it is going to be a nerveracking time for the board trying to tie the majority of these down.

It has been said that wasps are willing to pay 200,000 a year for Cipriani's services so i expect him to accept this,

what are ur views on who will stay and who will go!

How about Northampton, Spencer is getting on now...

But to be honest I think IF he moves it will be to Sarries, stays in London, big money, and good coaches....

Haskell to Bath!

Please can cipriani go to london irish and haskel as well. We are the premiership leaders and it would mean we have the sickest backline in the premiership

I can't imagine why Saracens would want Cipriani. Jackson and Barritt are already both better number 10s than Cipriani, and Goode will be in 12 months time.

If you said Burger, then I would be less sceptical.

thats basically the backbone of the team, hopefully most will stay, the problem for wasps is they are the centre of the england team and will wrongly be made to suffer for that.

You could also argue that it is also a problem for England too.

I imagine that Tigers would have no interest in Cipriani as his play boy image would not fit in at Leicester. Plus we already have Flood and Hougaard battling it out for the ten shirt, if we were to acquire another fly half it would have to be someone who didn't mind being third choice so either a youngster or an old head. Though Rickey Aley is coming through nicely.

Rees however, is a reported target as Herring isn't really that good, Woods is good but not world beating and Moody has injury troubles. Kennedy is supposed to be a target as well as Rory Clegg.

Ibanez is retiring but Webber and ward are pretty good. Hopefully Hayes will bring some stability to Wasps finances. Now it seems that we are staying at glamourous Wycombe we can really put some roots down and develop the facilities there. This should help keep the players, especially with Big LoL adding his passion and influence.

Saracens are gaining a real reputation now with their fantastic coachig team and knowing Cipriani, Kelly Brooke will persuade him to stay in London...

I think if Rees and Haskel stay then Cips will. Rees was born in wycombe and played for local school RGS High Wycombe so hopefully that is incentive enough for him to stay. Then it is just down to haskel. With big Lol about, hopefully Haskel will stay along then with Cips.

Everybody wants them so it is going to be hard. Fingers crossed!
