Final, at last!

Novak Djokovic Nikolay Davydenko, both from the Gold group as few could predict!

Excellent and a very focused start from Djokovic, continues into the second set.

The agressive game Novak was able to impose early on brings him the highly-coveted title of TMC Champion for 2008!

Perfect ending for the year with the perfect start.

Congratulations to The Quiet Man Davydenko who has (again) shown why he's been in the top 5 for so long.

Well done Novak for a trying and good year, may it continue in the next season in its fullness!

...............................................................
Gritty first semi-final match between Novak and Gilles, should go to Novak.

Well done Novak, a really tough match against exhausted but ever-figthing Simon, credit to both for giving it all despite huge nerves and pressure they obviously were under.

Final at TMC for Novak Djokovic, a great finish to match the equally great start of this very, very good year.

..................................................................
I can't believe I missed the first set, I thought the match was starting at noon!!!!!

It seems Novak had a good start...

Tsonga is fighting back, some pride seems to be on stake here...

Do people still think Roddick's serve is the best?

C'MON NOVAK!

........................................................................................................................................
Decent first set goes to Novak Djokovic.
His form seems to be on the mend, and it is joy to watch him fly across the court again, Davydenko being a great match-up...

Second set 6:0, well, A picture paints a thousand words....

Final score 2:1, some great tennis, shame for Davy, but today Joker beat the Choker!

"saddos of Roddick and Boredo's calibe(let)."

you are usually a moderate poster, dont see a reason why that language is used.

The problem is nole, you have failed to respond to any of duggies reasonable questions with anything other than examples of others. Guess what? We're not talking about others, we're talking about Djokovic.

Your last post that is riddled with sarcasm proves your inability to respond sensibly on this topic.

At which point I gave up - you cannot debate tennis objectively - including this specific incident - with anyone who hero worships any particular player.

Pix,
because that is the most succint word to express what I think of their faul play at USO.
BLE,
YOu may not be talking about others, but I am because you can't seem to see the forest
from a tree.
duggie,
quit4 disappointed as you seem you've got an axe to grind or a wind-up on the agenda, not my scene.

Nole

I dont do wind ups and your sarcasm in your earlier post was unnecessary and inaccurate.

I dont have an axe to grind , but a forum is a place to debate and I found the MTO against Simon excessive and outside the rules.

I gave my reasons and asked you several direct questions which you chose not to answer.

A number of posters have expressed a similar view and you have responded by calling other players with injury saddos and have questionned other MTOs by FEd and Simon, despite them being WITHIN permitted timeframes.

As I have repeatedly said, I find Djoko an extremely talented player, but who for me attracts criticism for his on court behaviour in regard to time outs and the re occurrence of excessive ball bouncing - the latter a distraction, the former quite serious.

With respect, your responses appear to be " I like him - he can do no wrong" and instead of answering the points put we have the scattergun approach of unfounded accusations against other players.

I dont believe its possible to have an objective discussion in these circumstances and accusations of axes and wind ups rather demonstrate that point.

I second all of duggie's post. An excellent, mature response.

Nole, you are being childish and behaving like a spoilt brat. Address the issues, don't attempt to deflect the focus to other players.

Grow up!
