HeavensExhaust (U13677848) posted Nov 10, 2008 I'd agree with that, the appearence money thing should be scrapped, and there should be a tier for prize money related to the prestige of the tournament so it doesn't get out of hand (if it hasn't already!)

IOWWolf (U13028424) posted Nov 10, 2008 Golf will propably be OK as the main sponsors are looking at their Target Markets and Golf is a sport that appeals to the ABC1's thus ensuring a steady market. The sport is also massive in the Far East,India and now the Sheiks are getting involved so I doubt we will see a cashflow problem when it comes to Sponsorship.

golfamwe (U13682025) posted Nov 11, 2008 Appearance money, imo, should be shared equally between all those who start in the tournament. On the pro-am day, usually Wednesday, all the pro's play an equal part in support of the sponser.
