Disappointing today

Premier League Arsenal
comment on the article

The positive thing is that we kept a clean sheet. We needed that but we lack the power up front. We need more power to beat United.

Wenger should shut up moaning. The entire league is sick of listening to him blaming everyone but his team for their loses. He's a complete baby.

Arsenal have been playing three games in a week every season for years...

Need I say any more?

We kept a clean sheet, Djoruou looked class so expect to see him on the bench on Saturday, and Fabianski played well, so expect to see him on the bench.

This was one of the most lifeless displays i've witnessed, only away to Fulham this season beats that, we need to bounce back and quickly.

PS:Wenger really needs to keep his mouth shout, its not interesting anymore its just sad.

I'm begining to see the connection here...

If we need 10 chances to put one away, then no wonder wenger is complaining about not creating enough chances!

Let's see. Spurs had 4 or 5 real good chances, they took 4 of them. Stoke had around the same real good chances and took 2 of them.

We put pressures on ourselves because we miss easy chances and end up going into halftime either drawn or behind when we should be 1 or 2 up. It decreases your confidence and adds to your frustration.

It's not a surprise that our player commit more fouls in the later stages of the game out of frustration (and stupidity a la RVP). These bookings aren't necessary had we been less wasteful and had more purpose when we have possession of the ball.

If you don't make your opponents pay, then they will on the counter.

Simple as that. Unlike our way of footballing these days.

There's a difference between attractive and fancy football. The former scores goals. We're stuck in the latter.

Look at the end of the day we're rubbish. As Arsenal supporters we know what a good team is because we've been watching 1 for ages! The problem with this team as we all know-

Gallas-Shouldn't be captain-PERIOD
Denilson-Should never ever be 1st choice CM
Fabregas-Needs a rest but we have no 1 else
Nasri-Still too light weight and doesn't seem to want to take any responsibility
Almunia-Like the guy but surely theres better out there.
Bendtner-Should be forth striker not third-last night proved that.
RVP-Good player-but first choice??
Adebayor- Last night proved how much we rely on him
Walcott-Still raw but could be our saviour in years to come!

Really the only players we can rely on in our team in my eyes are Toure,Sagna and Clichy, the rest really should be worried for there places but unfortunately we haven't got the players or manager who is able to do that!

I've also seen reports that Wenger blames fatigue for where we are at the moment. If thats the case then surely the need for new fitter blood is needed. QAt the end of the day this is all Wengers doing and yes the injuries we've had haven't helped but surely we could of got a couple of utility players in like Belleti for Chelsea and even O Shea for United! A player I always liked was Edu, he was foreign but had a bite to his tackle and a great passer of the ball. People like him should be sought after but then it's Wengers way or nothing!!

Surely if Wenger isn't capable of accepting loss like a man he can't be expected to inspire his group of boys to victory.

That said, it smacks of the usual over-reaction to the annual Arsenal meltdown.

I am seriously beginning to believe he is Arsene Whinger.

He has a point...but EVEN if you're right, dont bang on and on about it.

He makes loads of excuses too.

So Mr Wenger...oops, Whinger, there is such a thing a lying badly...AND such a thing as telling the truth poorly.

Arsene Wenger is not whining at all he is saying the truth. Fenerbahce should have had Semih Senturk sent off last night he made a clear and deliberate elbow into Silvestre's face and broke his nose. What do you expect Wenger to do, kiss Semih's feet????

All I can say is this. Wenger has facts to back him up. For the umpteenth season we are facing an injury crisis, and once again we are seeing some very ugly injuries happen to our players.

A whinger is someone like Ferguson who comes out every game moaning about the roughness of his opponents, yet when you look at Man Ut'd injury list it is nowhere near Arsenal's in terms of numbers.

Wenger is a born winner and he hates losing, if you armchair experts are happy to see your manager hold his hands up and say how cack we are then go support a small club, my suggestion would be Spurs or Man Utd.

A quick comment on our injury list. I know some have been in games but many appear to be picked up in training.
Whilst some of this is down to bad luck I am questioning the training methods regarding fitness. How tired should I players be in November?

If the injuries are hampering Arsenal's season, then isnt there a question as to Wenger's signings? Renowned for buying cheap (or not at all) and turning players into very good players, he has perhaps biten off his nose to spite his face. Gallas, Adebayor, Walcott, RVP, all out so far for Saturday and who is there prominently to repalce, if even for the interim?

Chelsea were said to be the sign of a strong club, so good they had a squad of 22 where a reserve player could fill in for a 1st XI player with little to no disturbance. Even the 'kids' who featured against Sheff Utd were said to be so good they could play in the 1st XI (media hype, I know). Would the fans say Wenger has not brought in the players who can play in the positions of absentees well enough to maintain the team ethos and flow?
