Could we have done more to win a game of football?? Celtic resorted to negative tactics with about 35 minutes to go! Here I go thinking, they're at home and they'll attack! But hey at least we didnt lose and NO WAY we deserved to. There was only one team playing to win today and its unfortunate we couldn't come out with the win. However our job does become a bit more difficult when there are 10 defenders! And these are the SAME Celtic fans accusing the Rangers of anti-football!?

Having said that, it was FANTASTIC performance by us at Celtic Park - always a difficult place to go in Europe. No one would've been surprised if we'd won 4-0 and thats what excited me about this match and a positive I will take.Couldn't have asked anymore of the players tonight and they can be happy about this performance albeit the result.

FOREVER UNITED!

Jim.
Berbatov is worth (according to your money men) 3 times more than our starting team last night. We set up last night to defend and attack when we could. We did and we scored early on. After that we still had chances. Hull went at you on saturday because they had nothing to lose. We needed to get something out of that game last night and we did. So we did what we went to do!Tactics are a part of football for a reason. We went out to get in your faces - which we did. Hence that kick on Brown by cheat Ronaldo. Afterwards he tried to tell Brown to get up as if nothing had happened?!?! He should practise what he preaches! Now run along...school tomoro

Jim Gaffigan,

Either you have short term memory or are completely ignorant of the fact that A) most clubs do this in the CL and B) Utd did the exact same thing against a Barca team that had most of it's players coming back from injury. So by your very own logic, United should never have entered the CL last season.

Jim, what 7 defenders did we have on at one stage, and at what stage in the match did we have no strikers on. The points brought up about barcelona are legit, face facts m8, or better still, watch more than just the highlights.

"AC Milan were absolutely rubbish until they got out the group stage that year. Anyone who saw that game vs Celtic couldn't believe they were the same team who won it."

What absolute drivel and you show your ignorance has no end, your hatred for Celtic is causing you to lie through your teeth!

CELTIC didn't play AC Milan in the group stages you fool, this was a LAST 16 game doh

Absolutely moronic!

Obviously Jim is exaggerating but you started out with a 4-4-2 formation, got the goal, went to a 4-5-1 formation and then substituted Maloney for O'Dea, to go 5-4-1, if thats not an extreme defensive formation I don't know what is.

It worked however and you deserved the point, but to win would have been an unfair result.

why would it have been 'unfair'?
if you win, you win and if you lose, you lose. nothing to do with it being 'unfair'wah
i mean it's not like we were given 2 offside goals.

had we won you would have had yourself to blame for not making use of your superior possession.

No you numpty, unfair in regards to the balance of play, considering United were the better team for most of the match. But it doesn't matter anyway, the result is what counts and a point will do United fine.
