The Argentina Game...

Scotland

comment on the article

Still a couple weeks away, but I'm interested in what everyone wants to see from this game.

Should we line up with our strongest team and play as if we are away in Holland; 4-5-1, keeping it tight?

Or can you see Burley blooding some youngsters incase of injuries come March?

Are there any players you'd like to see get a chance? Or players you think should not be included in the squad?

Cheers

Why even bother trying to discuss football with plazzy mancs... Best? Great player though ill-disciplined... Giggs????

You are comparing Ryan Giggs to Maradona?

Alright lad... watch much football do you?

As for Cristiano Ronaldo... same league as Diego??? Not even the same effing sport!

Maradona is untouchable.

maradonas goal against england in 86. was the greatest goal ever scored and is aclaimed as that in many polls on the subject.

Maradonna single handedly dragged Napoli up the Italian league and a pretty rubbish Argentina to the World Cup.

Ronaldo has some tremendous talent but has nowhere hear the influence on the pitch.

Maradonna is amoung the best that ever played - Ronaldo is in the next tier. Brazilian Ronaldo at his best was ahead of the current Ronaldo.

You need stregnth and power to drag teams with you - Ronaldo of Man U falls over at the slightest contact.

No contest IMO.

Alan Hanson has no idea about Football. Saying Marradona is in a different league than C Ronaldo is just the crazyest thing I have ever heard. I have seen some players in my time but there is just something extra special about Ronaldo. Ronaldo is still so young and if he stays with United will become the greatest football in history. No disrespect to Diego as he really was a great player but if Ronaldo stays where he is, avoids serious injury then i'm afraid the facts are there for everyone to see. Hanson needs to take his liverpool goggles off and start respect ronny for he player he really is.

Any way good luck to the Scots...

I'm amazed anyone would even mention Ronaldo in the same sentence as Maradona.

Maradona was immense - the complete player. Not even Zidane or Cantona at his very best was on the same planet. Nobody was.

This has worked out very well for Scotland btw. We can win this game, the crowd will be amazing and our players are right up for it.

If we can beat Argentina at Hampden, we can beat Holland and get our WC qualification back on track.
