One game unbeaten run at Stamford Bridge!Premier League Chelsea by blueJ2 (U1754318) 01 November 2008 You have to start with a first step, and that was a good start to our next unbeaten run at home. You can see why we've been missing Joe Cole - he created a spark for us when we looked a little bereft of ideas at first. Deco is starting to find his feat again too - he was poor against Liverpool. He needs to be fit to make a difference, and his fitness is coming back. Drogba is still well short of fitness - he looks like he needs to lose a stone. Looking forward to seeing Ballack back soon too. But you have to hand it to Alex - he steps in whenever needed and he was superb at both ends. Pleased for Anelka - hope that provides the confidence he needs. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own posted Nov 2, 2008 Alex is only 6'2? Wow I thought we was taller then that.

daveythepredictor (U7392466) posted Nov 3, 2008 i think we need another striker or another winger as malouda is not consistent enough and we need more than two players to be able to play the anchor role upfront. ibrahimovic would be nice to see perhaps

GiveRedstheBlues (U10752751) posted Nov 4, 2008 With Ashley Cole the latest casualty, why do Chelsea players suffer so many injuries? No fewer than nine first team players have had, and continue to have major injuries this season and we are only in November. Cech, Essien, Carvalho, J Cole, A Cole, Ballack, Deco, Terry, Drogba. Other teams have injuries to key players but not all at the same time. Is it a problem with training, fitness, diet, or just other team players going in hard and taking them out each week?
