WILL NOT WIN TITLE BUT WENGER MUST STAY!

Premier League Arsenal

Hello fellow gooners!

I am absolutely shocked at the level of the teams performances recently, and in my honest opinion it shows the team are not title contenders this year! (it pains me to say)

I am not going to blame individuals though it is very clear to see our problems start from defending. I feel Flamini's departure was more of a loss then most fans can have realized!

Its not an enjoyable time if you are a gooner, and its very disheartening to believe the team are not title challengers, but i honestly believe Wenger going is never a possibility and in my view he has a job for life.

There is not one manager in the world who could benefit our side, though i do feel Wenger is partially blinded to the weaknesses in our side (namely two quality defenders and midfielders).

I would like to say well done to Stoke and Hull, who both have seemed to be using all their strengths to the best of their ability's. And this is where I believe Arsenal have lost their way. Yes the Arsenal play good football, but they have no obvious cohesion in the team. Its all well and good stringing 20 passes together, but that way of football is no more effective then Delaps supper throws, or a team like Boltons direct play.

I feel the team are not as quick and direct with players like Freedie and bobby and a midfield partnership which is seriously weakend with Flamini's departure.

Anyway, thats my rant over!

I think the team requires a greater push/motivator. Someone in the mould of Mourinho. AW to me is becoming too careful in his outbursts. There is growing litte charge from his comments other than "the team is young", "we have to show that we can come back" etc

I don't know what he discusses with the boys in training but he is just not bringing out the best from this boys at the moment, at least we are not seeing that.

If the defence is faulty, our attack, where we have so much options are taking chances at the rate of 30% or below!

Many supporters are simply wearing down and are resigning to fate. Just take whatever result!!

As for me I am becoming scared of even watching our team play to safeguard against high BP. A team you ordinarily will love to watch even when they are losing. The good old days are fading but Wenger must bring it back anyhow, just anyhow.

I'd like to think Arsenal would be up there with us but I just can't see it happening. Arsenal are without Ade, Walcott and RVP on saturday, and If they lose that game and they lose to us three weeks later, Arsenal will surely be out of the title race, because I can't remember the last team that lost 5 games before christmas and won the title.

U really have to give it up to the media, they really do a good job of hyping @ss@nal up to make them sound like potential champions even before a ball is kicked..... Prety football alone don't win u trophies and its good that the majority of @ss fanz r now realising that (It took u lots long enough though).....

There is only three teamz with a shot at the title this year and they are Liverpool, Chelski and Manure...... But I just have a feeling that this year will be for the Pool despite the defeat to Spurs.... Comeon u REDS.... YNWA....

It has to be said now, that it's now time to judge Arsene Wenger - 4 years without a trophy, means arsenal can no longer be considered a big club but a selling club, there'll always be able to beat teams on their day, but if this man was in charge of any other club in europe he'd've been sacked a long time ago! he has almost an OCD in taking kids to try and win the premier league, it's never going to happen, he has sold players who are big presences in the side and failed to replace them, I feel that he has taken Arsenal as far as he can now, and thats coming from a man united fan, but i am positive many others will agree with me. You cant just keep someone at the club based on past achievements, they have a below average gkeeper, the biggest cry baby in the prem in gallas, a player who suffers burn out far too quickly in Fabregas - who is bound to leave in the summer, and far too many injury prone players such as rosicky - who even when fit, cant cut it at this level, a below average striker in Bendtner - who some championship clubs wouldnt choose to have him in their squad! I reckon Wenger will be sacked if arsenal end up empty handed again at the end of this season - if they dnt sack him, then i'm sorry but the club no longer has any ambition!

Since when is being 4th on the table and just 6 points from first place in end of October not good enough? I don't understand this rush to judgment. Relax people. We will turn it around! I think Chelsea looks strong, but so what? We can nick a draw with Man U on Saturday (I frankly don't see how we beat them with so many issues we have - Walcott, Sagna, Ade, RVP, etc). If we can get a draw with Man U we will be on track. We don't need to buy anyone. All we need is for our defenders to practice more on set pieces, and our strikers to remain calm infront of goal and finish chances. Also, drop Denilson and play Song more so he gets more comfortable - he is actually a very good DM.

You need to put Arsenal into perspective and Wenger. I think Arsenal are up there with nthe rest but without having to spend the large amounts of money that Chelsea, Liverpool and Man U spend on players. I agree that there are frailties within the defense central pairing of Gallas and Toure. I think that Arsenal supporters need to wait for the gems of Arsenal to flower. I think it is better to have your defeats earlier in the season then to crumble at the last, as has happened to Arsenal before. If that horrific tackle hadn't taken place by Martin Taylor last season, which led to the draw at Pompey then we could have title contenders. There is lots to be excited about at Arsenal! A Gooner for life...
