Good on you WengerPremier League Arsenal by Plymouth Gooner (U4402143) 31 October 2008 "Gunners boss Arsene Wenger pulled no punches in a heated exchange with his Arsenal stars after their two-goal collapse to Spurs. (Daily Mirror)" comment by FreeAvidMerrion00 (U1902951) posted 7 Hours Ago When you make a substitution you expect the player to come on and perform to a certain level (normally eboue et al would come on and approach the game professionally) but they didn't, so you can't Wenger when he subs on players who normally would do a job and then they don't. I think the blame firmly lies with the players on the pitch who failed to stop the final two goals going in. Not just Clichy or Almunia but Denilson, Gallas and Silvestre as well. comment by d0gwill (U8879393) posted 11 Hours Ago I honestly think that if Wenger was at any other club he would have been sacked by now! I love watching Arsenal play as they do play exceptional football but I feel Wenger is now using this "Young Squad" as an excuse to hide behind that fact that they havent won anything for what, 4 years? I am not saying he is a bad manager, far from it but he has been using the same excuse for 4 years. Take for instance Fabregas. He is young yes but has more experience than the likes of Liverpool's Javier Mascherano, Man Utd's Anderson or Darren Fletcher and Chelsea's Jon Obi Mikel, yet nothing ever gets said about those guys being inexprienced. They hide behind that 'fact'. I agree with Adebayor, I think its all about mentality. Its time Wenger stopped hiding behind his kids comments and started to spend some of his money! Which his chairman has said he has! I know I cant say too much being a Liverpool fan as Rafa also hid behind the "not having money to compete with Chelsea/Man Utd". He has had the money and now has to deliver, or he will be gone! ____________________ Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own posted Nov 1, 2008 Arsene Wenger has to search for a new Patrick Viera!

There's no difference, it doesn't make a difference to me. Although if it was my choice I'd have a cap on foreign players to retain the growth of English talent.

Then... Now... Forever Forest. (U7535555) posted Nov 1, 2008 From reading the comments on here I'm more surprised that Arsenal fans aren't generally annoyed with Adebayors comments. After watching the game I thought, despite his goals, he looked lazy and not at all interested in comparison to last season when he was chasing lost causes and closing people down, in this game he just didnt show the passion he did last season. Personally, I think Adebayor is havin a wobbly like Ronaldo because he didn't leave last summer, playing good, but by his own standards nothing near what he can do. For me, after this summers antics by Adebayor, he should have been the last person to comment on their title hopes, nevermind being negative when asked! to be negative is to give up before the end. I also thought Fabregas looked disinterested but maybe I'm being too harsh & expect them to run around the whole game working magic lol. As for this apparent selling of quality in Hleb and Flamini, Arsenal have played much better football without them and with the introduction of Walcott & Nasri. Im actually a Nottingham Forest fan lol but I have a lot of Arsenal supporters around me and so tend to look out for them and watch them when I can and what I can say is Arsenal fans always seem to be optimistic and trust in Wenger and his youth policy, I'm slowly starting to see Gunners lose the faith but I dont think they will slip up again after this.
