Croydon Bob I dont know what perplexes me more the fact you are arguing grammatical English on an F1 forum or the fact that someone who has "Croydon" in the title of his name making an issue regarding the use of English grammar! Surely if you have any affiliation with Croydon you'd be saying things like "init" "geeza" "no wot i mean bruv"...

<laugh> Well that's a fair cop guv innit? But I mean like ow I speak 'n' ow I write ain't necessarily the same innit mate?

I hope that you are not suggesting that such great Croydonians of the past as the authors Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and D.H. Lawrence, or the composer Samuel Coleridge Taylor, or actors Sir Peter Cushing and Dame Peggy Ashcroft spoke like that?

Some of our still-living famous Croydonians may not have quite the same grasp of the Queen's English (Kate Moss, Kate Nash, half the cast of Eastenders) but others (Derren Brown, Sue Perkins, Ronnie Corbett) are quite literate thank you very much.

No famous racing drivers however... unless you count Ian Wright? <yikes>

How does Ronnie Corbett become a famous Croydonian? He's blimmin Scottish. Living there doesn't make him Croydonian any more than I'm Herefordian.

Back on track now though. Massa will need to get his finger out if he is to win. It was a painful debacle watching him pass KR in the last race. FM seemed deluded that he had caught and passed the Finn whereas KR was notably embarrassed.

In the eyes of the true fans, LH is already WDC irrespective of the result on Sunday.

i just hope that its a good race and an exciting one i think it would be boaring if it was a one man show. i believe hamilton is the better driver but on his home track and only 7 points in it...pressure could get to hamilton but who knows?!

Similar situation to what happened last year. But I think Hamilton will win this time. And to be frank, Massa has received external help to even become a title challenger.

The title will be won and lost at the first corner. Just hope LH steers clear of any mayhem!!
