Championship QPR
comment on the article

So Mr Dowie has been shown the door cant say im devistated but was just begining to warm to the guy (just as i did JG as he was about to be fired)

Now the rummor mill will be going on overtime linking us to every man who has ever seen a football match and probobly his dog too but for now I would like to wish Gareth Ainsworth the best of luck for however long he is in the hotseat he is a good servant to the club and with all the new money it would be good to have a man who remembers the fight out of league 1 and the spirit we showed

GOOD LUCK WOLFMAN

WE (and GA) are QPR

I'd take "Curbs" for Rangers.
Can we start a bandwagon?

dowie is useless - coventry has it's worst run of form under dowie - and if i recall correctly (i am prone to forget exact details), didn't he lie about the reason for leaving crystal palace - some excuse about wanting to be closer to his family up north or something like that - when the next club he moved to was down the road at charlton - doesn't that make him either a coward or someone who has no loyalty or someone who is only interest in money? - whatever, he doesn't cut much of a reputation in coventry...

I never rated Dowie but I think this whole sorry episode is everything thats wrong with our game these days. I wouldn't mind if this was some over hyped Premiership club with a buch of glory hunting idiots for fans but to see this sort of thing happening in the Championship really worries me. And as an Ipswich fan, to have QPR at home next week when we really need a win is a killer, cos' we all know what happens when a side have just lost their boss!!

Poor Iain Dowie was in a no-win situation. If he had brought success to the club it would have only been because of the money; if he fell short of the very high expectations then out of the door.

QPR will never get back in the Premiership if they keep chopping and changing managers every five minutes. OK so they're loaded and are backed by a couple of billionaires but I can't see a mass scramble for the vacant managers position happening over the next few days.

Dowie may not have been wengeresque in his style but he wasn't doing too badly - they're no where near the bottom, so why fire the guy? It just smacks of desperation and a lack of conviction. If he wasn't the right guy then why hire him in the first place??

Mr Dowie has done a reasonable job but was he permitted to make team selections?
Who next for the job my vote would be Mr Ranieri

Ha! I can just see Claudio Ranieri giving up his job as manager of Juventus to come back to west Lomdon and subject himself again to the whims of rich owners.

Qpr are a point off the top 4 in what has to be the most competative championship ever and this deemed not good enough ordering discarding of the manager is a total joke good luck to iain dowie im sure he will soon find new employers

We don't have managers anymore, we have trainers and they have to do what they are told or get out.
