Good squad from WarrenInternational Wales by llywachcadwallader (U1823197) 21 October 2008 Jamie Robinson and Owen are unfortunate and surely there is a better open-side option to back up Martyn than Robin S-T, but otherwise a decent selection. Good to see Eifion in there and that the impact of Halfpenny and Biggar has meant if they're good enough, they're old enough. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

hofgasteinboy (U9694302) posted Oct 22, 2008 the ban was an internal thing so will only apply to ospreys games, of which i am sure they'll count the HC game as one because they never brought him off the bench when lets be honest they had a bit of a sweat on in that game, they could really have done with his quality.

BigFancyPants (U10729976) posted Oct 25, 2008 Bluesjosh - If Nicky Robinson was in the squad then there would be no regular kicker for their region in the whole team! They would have to put hook in at inside centre for kicking duty, but you must admit that 10/12 combo of Robinson/Hook is a bit lightweight and not the best that Wales have to offer.

bluesjosh (U10832800) posted Oct 25, 2008 Shows how much you know then doesn't it. Robinson didn't blow his chance, he was first choice OH for Wales and fell ill on the tour to SA and was out for the whole of the next season, and has suffered with injuries since. Man of the match again today, Dai Young said he was disappointed Nicky didn't make the squad, and nobody in the studio could believe it, well done Nicky Robinson for sticking two fingers up at Gatland with another superb performance, was just pipped by Powell last week for man of the match aswell, was man of the match week before, and was one of the factors that helped the blues get over the line against Sale, well done

directoroftennis (U13375981) posted Oct 27, 2008 TomWelshRugby why would you have Roberts in at 13 against SA. He has done well at Inside Centre but would not make a good Outside Centre. He can cover wing if we are short or play fullback, but to me he would be a poor choice at 13.

princeeynon (U2047928) posted Nov 11, 2008 the sad thing about the welsh squad they lack awareness of players in better positions to score tries, the ospreys hooker threw away several chances, in the last few matches. In the game against S.Africa Ryan Jones guilty of ignoring players outside when a try was on. I think that the coaching team should start looking outside the box

princeeynon (U2047928) posted Nov 11, 2008 Having watched Biggar when he played in the junior world cup, again like Robinson of the blues he is not consistant in his game, He has to learn that he is not the only one in the team, hopefully in time he will learn that. Comment on this article
