Sunday's Premier League action

Premier League

The final words I heard today from my wife before I left the house? "Up the Tigers."

The parting message used to have a slightly more personal or romantic inference and it is certainly safe to say that the fortunes of Hull City never figured in any sort of conversation at all when they were in the lower reaches of the Football League.

No doubt the fortunes of Phil Brown's brave warriors will start to slip down the agenda if Hull's fortunes flag and fade but for the moment there is even a pressing interest in watching them in the flesh, for real, despite the ridiculous cost of watching Premier League football.

This afternoon sees them takes on Gianfranco Zola's West Ham. A victory for the Tigers will see them move back into the top four (did I ever think I would be writing those words?), while the Hammers finally get the chance to show that they are much better than their 3-1 humbling at home to Bolton last time out.

Will this be the day the Hull City Express is derailed?

The other fixture has all kinds of intrigue about it. Bottom against second-bottom, Spurs at Stoke.

Chaos club Tottenham desperately need a win today, but one thing if for sure - the team of the gigantic throw-ins will not make it easy.

My most embarasing moment was when i was about
17 and in the pub early waiting for my mates
A gang of girls where in and the pub had no music on
so i went over and picked some cool sound's
and donny osmond came on puppy love
could have died.

Did a similar thing once myself when chatting to the gorgeous new barmaid with my mate. She asked me to put some music on and Move Closer by Phyllis Nelson came on. Oh what fun they had at my expense!

Mine is that after having worked very long hours i had a company call me up (where i had applied for a job) to make an appointment. At the end of the conversation i said i love you to the secretary because i thought that i was talking to my wife. Needless to say i didnt get the job.

Juan day the points will come...optimist

Where *looks around*. From trees?? you don `t grow points you earn them. That message hasn`t reached spurs yet. The only reason you got a point from us was a stupid deflection!

Wow. a chealsea error! your only point! well done!!! you take 2 points off us.

Yeah, they did get a point off your lot, didn't they. Must be a weakness there somewhere smiley When we play you I hope we exploit it to maximum efficiency.

I think its to good to be true im a chelsea fan and to see tottenham and fulham doing rubbish to be 3 points clear of our main rivals to have a great goal difference, unbeaten even with half a team and to see underdogs (hull) doing well is just great. Its all to good to be true

It's the same old story: things go bad so do you:

1. Stick with the manager and hope things improve?

or

2. Sack him, get a fresh face and bounce back off the "new manager" effect?

Experience has shown that 1. is the most successful over time, but time isn't on Spurs' side.

Should have stuck with Jol. Look what's happened at Newcastle and West Ham.

But then again, you could point to Steve Bruce at Wigan.

What to do? Stick or twist?
