Live - Saturday's SPL action

Scottish Premier
comment on the article

Are you ready for some madcap SPL action? OK let's go...

The lunchtime kick-off promises to be a cracker, with Gordon Strachan's side looking to move three points ahead of Rangers at the top of the table. And, depending on how later results go, a win for Inverness could see them climb to third.

Then, we have another three SPL games to look forward to at three o'clock.

Aberdeen face a tricky trip to Falkirk, SPL newcomers Hamilton entertain St Mirren and third-placed Kilmarnock take on St Mirren, in the knowledge that victory would take them within three points of Rangers.

We want your thoughts on the action as it unfolds. Give it some laldy here: news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/sco...

With Man Utd coming up for Celtic, the players will try to stay injury free, i think they will be too scared to put good tackles in, and with zero pressure on Inverness, i can see a sneaky 1-0 win for Brewsters boys, mon the Caley!

I'm absolutely gutted. Here I am sitting tuning into radio, tv and the internet on a Saturday once again. The credit crunch is biting my backside so can't afford to go to Rugby Park to see the Mighty 'Well today. Going to be a tough game I think with both teams strengths going head to head. Still, I think the 'well will come out on top with a narrow 2-1 victory.

Expect Smellic to win 3-0, Falkirk and Aberdeen 2-2. Also hoping for an Accies defeat, 1-0 to the Saints.

RE: 1320
I remember playing with my boys teams and we had kickoffs at 10am. Middle of December and we are on the park at 945 getting whacked with those stupid Moldmaster things. Ouch! Remember those anyone?

I'd happily write the text updates for the BBC, seems like exciting work! Also, Killie, Hamilton, and Falkirk to win today.

I predict Aberdeen to cave in the second half and a final 3-0 score at the Bairnabeu thanks to a Stevie Lovell hattrick! It'll be like Middlesbrough Chelsea... only colder!
