Ha! Ha! Ha!, my mother could of avoided that ball.

If a youngster played that shot he would be hung-up from the nearest tree.

Well done to Sachin for becoming the highest run score in test cricket. When Sachin clicks it is a treat to watch.I hope Sachin plays one more year and crosses the 13000 mark.He is a class apart and is dedicated ,hardworking and sincere towards the cause of team India. We all fail at some time and Sachin is no exception but he always tries his best for the country . Long live Sachin and I hope he inspires a lot of youngsters by being attached to cricket even after he retires.

Don't think Sachin could possibly add another 1,000 runs to that. Ponting will hold record within two years for sure.

In all honesty, congratulations Sachin the years of watching him bat has been a pleasure.

But to put things into perspective I think the records broken should be put into era's otherwise every ten years or so they are all going to be broken some way or another.

All that we are doing is taking the names of the past out of the picture and the young ones of today will never know what great acheivements were made by some great men of the past.

Different era's different conditions, different opposition.

What I'm trying to say is, lets not forget the great players of the past, just as one day the name Tendulker will be taken off the top of the list of greats.
