England

Premier League Manchester City
comment on the article

Just wondering if anybody else feels the same way about the England football team as i do.
I couldent care less if we win tonight i would quite happily see us lose if it means Ferdinand and Rooney get career threatening injuries.
In fact i would much rather city finish 4th than England win the world cup!
What would you prefer?

No I dont feel the same way as you.
Wishing injury on anyone is diabolical.
I want both with the England team having 4 or 5 academy players in it.

I agree. I don't care about England either. I can't really put my finger on it but I think it's partly because the players often believe their own hype and get lost in self-importance. I just don't like them very much when they pull on an England shirt.

I would not wish injury on Rooney or Plug, except for perhaps a little knock on the ankle three days prior to the Derby!

No way would I like to see ANY player get injured (about the only possible exception I may have made would have been Roy Keane). Like Nteeny said - you were over the top there, wishing injuries on other team's players (no matter who they are).

Cant agree with the injury thing, but I dont really follow the England set up like I used to.

International breaks are no more than a nuisance these days. Roll on Monday!

Honestly, I'm bored of hearing club supporters saying they'd rather their club this and that than England.

We don't have to, and won't ever have to choose, it's not one or the other, BOTH can happen. I don't have to choose one or the other.
