I WILL DESTROY LUXEMBOURG AND JOIN ARSENAL SAYS BUGDUV

(MOLDOVA — AP) Talented Arsenal target and 16-year-old Moldovan hot shot has greeted news of his first start in his country's senior team with the
declaration that he will "destroy Luxembourg."
Left out of the team that was thrashed 3-0 by Greece at the weekend,
the powerful teenager has said that he wants to mark his first start
by "ripping the soul of the Luxembourg team" that has already secured
a draw away to Euro 2008 hosts Switzerland.
The much-wanted Bugduv has said that he is to sue the winter internationals to get his country's faltering World Cup campaign back on track and ensure that he gets enough games to allow Arsenal to overcome work permit problems that plagued his summer transfer.
"Of course I was disappointed to miss out on the game in Greece as I
think I could have made a difference, but the manager said that he
wants to use me sparingly, so that is his decision.
"All I can do is go out on Wednesday and rip the soul of this
Luxembourg team and to give a performance full of pride for my
country.
"It has been a disappointing month for me, because my move to Arsenal
may not happen until January now. But I know that Mr Wenger is
watching my games for Olimpia Balti and for the country and I hope
that I can reassure him on Wednesday that I can still be a great
Arsenal player.
"I had hoped that I would make the summer move, but I am young and have to be patient."
The youngster is currently starring for his team Olimpia Balti in the Modovan League and has been on the radar of Arsenal, Zenit St Petersburg and Chelsea for some time.
However, his agent Sergei Yelikov revealed a month ago that negotiations with Arsenal were almost complete and hinted that work permit considerations may have been behind the postponement of the move. — AP
