Congrats to Hull City

Premier League Hull City

I'd just like to congratulate Hull City and their fans on a marvellous start to their first ever Premiership campaign. It's immensely refreshing to watch a promoted team going into every game believing they have a chance of picking up points. The fans always get behind their team, which is something that is sadly lacking at some of the bigger clubs such as Chelsea.

As a life-long Arsenal fan, I was impressed with the way Hull got in amongst our players at the Emirates, playing with an energetic work ethic and breaking up our usually beautiful flowing football. Like many people, I have to admit that I thought Hull City were going to be the new Derby come August, but Phil Brown truly deserves the plaudits for getting the most out of his players during the opening weeks of the season.

Obviously the big test will come when Hull lose a few games on the trot (in my view, this will be inevitable as the season draws on). However, it remains to be seen how the team will react to this and with support like Hull's they have every chance of staying up. In my opinion that can only be a good thing for the Premier League. Good luck to you.

I would also like to conragtulate hull on their start to the season.

Everyone assumes that they will lose a few games at some point, but I'm not sure, maybe then could win the title?

Can't wait to see what they do against Chelsea & Man U

What are the odds on Hull qualifying for Europe? It's gotta be worth a punt, and being as you can get in via domestic cups rather than league position it's not THAT impossible a scenario...

Hull have done really well to get to the position they are at now but they can't assume they are going to keep on going well, im concerned that if they lose a few games their confidence will be low and things might go wrong, the games after chelsea and man u i think it is will be important for the to get back to winning ways (assuming they lose).

You obviously didn't read what I said properly digispursfan007

I thought before the season started that it was going to be more of the same, but Hull, and to an extent West Brom have really surprised me

On the other hand, what's surprising about Tottenham being bottom??? You sell your two main goalscorers, that is usually what happens

Of course, that's right, you all said you would be Top 4, yeah right

doh

Its been a great start for Hull and well deserbed, I hope they can keep it up.

Perhaps its got something to do with Brown looking like a raving Lunatic in every picture ive seen of him, im sure i would want to perform well for them if my manager was slightly unhinged :D

As far as Spurs go all i can do is laugh continuously over such a self inflicted dire situation.
