I was wondering what number the Warrington wolves would get next season. What are your opinions. Everyone welcome.

As stated Rah is on a "pay as you play" contract. That alone will not get us under the cap level. Apparently we were only £5k under last year! My thoughts are that Briers will be let go and Gleeson will take that spot with Johnson moving into the centres and Grix taking a bench spot. Having said that will Briers leaving get us under the cap level? Reardon will also be a bench player. Penny will keep his spot.

but if the pay as play is a loop hole would that basically be like for like with the wages for GC ??

And with RP and AB gone would that be enough for MH ??????

I agree we need a full back.

DJ I would imagine that RP and AB wouldn't muster much more £50k between them and MH would command £80k minimum. Calculating Rah's wage you would need to guess at 75% of previuos wage would be paid out overthe year. As he had a good year last year with injuries etc. So overall i still think we have a problem! Maybe the rules have changed a bit i don't really know. A world class full back is a good call.

Yeah he'd be OK, but I don't like us settling for second best...

I'm in the same year at school as Rah's son and also play with him on the school rugby team (although unfortunately, we play union). I assume him to be very settled; he's going on our school ski trip next year and has a lot of friends, and I've never heard anything about him being homesick, so I assume he's here for at least another year.

As for the fullback issue, I do not see what is wrong with Stuart Reardon at all, when he's fit (which is sadly a rarity), he can rival anyone in Super League. What we need is quality cover; Billy Slater wouldn't be too bad in that respect laugh

I think when Reardon is fit, it's more of an issue of him doing his job.

He can't catch, he can't pass, his support play isn't the greatest and he doesn't really have any creative play to his game.

He's a strong runner, that's about it. I'd rather we got rid, or moved him to the wing.
