Thats all Stevo and Eddie go on about!

Who cares what the Aussie's think?!

Who cares if the Aussie's arnt impressed by tonights result?!

Who cares if the Aussie's are not taking us seriously?!!!

We know what were capable of. We know were going over there to raise a few eye brows. And i know for sure we will beat the Aussie's and wipe there egos clean.

If only Eddie and Stevo would think the same and not keep harping on about what the Aussie's can do. Its not about the Aussie's, its all about us, and i know what ENGLAND can do.

I think it was motty who used to say when commentating its not what you say but what you dont. I am not gonna go on a sky bashing rant, because I think their coverage is actually really good, especially the camera work, but sometimes I get the impression stevo and eddie feel they have to say something when they dont and it just ends up in a ramble!

Also on the topic of commentary I enjoyed Dave Woods and Brian Noble last week on the bbcs grand final replay.

Are those the same jokers who said St Helens would beat Leeds easily in the Grand Final?

Agree with ssnrl. It's English commentators and media obsessed with Aust. Eddie and Stevo carry on that Aust doesn't rate Eng or wouldn't even bother watching etc etc. Just trying to make out that their arrogant or something which is not the case. We Aussies are desperate for other teams to step up to the plate, compete or even beat us. It would give us something to look forward to every year with the State of Origin. Their is respect and I'm sure all those RL fans out there are looking forward to being challenged by Eng, NZ, Samoa and Tonga. Don't judge Aussies by the English media as the media in England are scoundrels. Look how they tried to make the Olympics into an Ashes Battle. It was embarrassing that the rest of the world would think Aust were even interested in what the English media were carrying on with. Best of luck to all teams.

The picture in my mind of Eddie and Stevo commentating is of them sitting on armchairs in a rest home with blankets on their laps and microphones in their hands.

Way too much opinion (and poor opinion), way too little commentating on the game.

And Leeds 90 - what???

leeds_90,

What's that your date of birth is it boof-head.

So you suggest the OZ supporters would get smashed up at Leeds hey!!!

Why's that big mouth, because our supporters can sit side by side without belting the crap out each other and can join in together after a game for a beer and catch the same train home.

So if your sign of toughness
is going to the footy and belting the opposition fans, sorry mate, that is one record you can hold all to yourself. dohdog

I hope you are a proud.

Eddie and Stevo go on about Australia all the blinking time; is it because they know they probably will win the World Cup or is it just the fact they wish England had the same ammount of class.

I for one am not saying England don't have class because they do, it shines through their ranks but they go on like they are Australians and it's quite annoying hence the reason why i put the radio on so i can have that commentary rather than listening to those buffoons on SkySports.

Good luck to England, New Zealand and Australia in that group. Doesn't really matter who wins the group as top 3 go through anyway which i find myself a bit tough on the other nations.

What is the point in having 2 teams going through in the other groups but then cvhganging it because New Zealand; Australia and England get drawn together. Sounds a bit of a fix to me but there you go.

I'm hoping Scotland can get their first win in the Wotld Cup and i do believe we can get through the group.

Leeds 90 i think you need to grow up a little bit mate; a league board for league talk not hooliganism talk.

Jog on mate !

Stokie,

I agree with you that the fact of N-Z, OZ, and Eng being in the same group does look a bit silly, and lets not forget whom is running this great game of ours now-a-days. "the bloody idiot box"

But I'm sure it is to get some even matches played in the first round of qualify's, because it could end up with cricket scores otherwise.

But it still does look a tad stupid
