Milners defeatest attitude to benching?

Premier League Aston Villa

Just scanned the website and Milners comments regarding his position on the bench show what a fantastic signing he has been. No bleating from benched record signing just common sense and insight. I would read between the lines (and he is too modest to say so)"when I get my chance just watch me" so Nige and Stan need to perform or buy a cushion for fear of pressure sores. A true superstar signing or a man happy to sit on the bench and collect his wage? Your views please.

He will have been told what to say by a P.O. but I think that he is being sensible... MON wasn't going to change a winning team, but now we lost to Chelsea (although they were VERY good), he may consider changing personnel.

I think Milner will be excellent for us given time. And I think that time will be very soon.

well,if he started whinging about not playing we'd all be jumping down his throat for trying to rock the boat.

i think it's a great message sent out by him, especially to other players at the club, seeing a lad who cost £12 million saying he's happy as long as the team are doing well....fair play to him...applause.

yeah agree with comments above. plus when before was our bench equipped with 2 players that were "worth" circa £20m? thats more like where we need to aim, and to be. Well done jimmy

I think you under estimate him, I feel he is more articulate but Scholesesq in his attitude to football and doesn't need a press officer. Villa4 is spot on, when amassing an expensive squad attitude is as important as ability. Milner is Steve Coppell with better knees what a fantastic signing.

Is our midfield the best in the league now, not including Chelsea and Man U?
