Who do you think is the greatest side of all-time?

here's a few options.

Real Madrid 50's-60's(my choice by far)
Milan late 80'-early 90's
Liverpool late 70's- early 80's
Man Utd 99 or 08
Celtic 67(lisbon lions. Had to include that!)
Ajax mid-70's

your choice??

I think they were, that season we got knocked out of the fa cup and CL because we had such fixture congestion.

we would of easily beaten monaco to get to the CL final and would ofcourse beaten millwall

IMO it’s a far greater feat to go an entire season completely unbeaten then just win a cup competition (as prestigious as it may be).

Good point but what about winning the league & european cup(and both domestic cups in celtics case) in the one season??

Also winning multiple euro cups such as milan, bayern, ajax, liverpool, madrid in a short period of time is a better achievement IMO

to go a hole season unbeaten with injuries suspensions fixture congestion is an incredable task to achieve.

6-8 games to win a cup is nothing in comparison

UNTOUCHABLES (Y)

I think 5 successive European Cup's (from 1956-60) is an incredible achievement and unlikely to be equalled or bettered. The most any team has done since then is 3 consecurtive wins (Ajax 1971-73 and Bayern 1974-76)

for winning games, liverpool of the 80's...but jesus, they were as boring as ####.

for watching, either milan of the late 80's...van basten,gullit,rikard...etc
or arsenals unbeatables...ok.

if you look at the record of the teams mentioned in the original post they went long term unbeaten and finished with trophies. the arsenal team of that season did well but in comparsion they are no where near the great teams.

real madrid by far gets my vote puskas and de stefano awesome strike record
