MHLF150 (U10523256) posted Oct 10, 2008 I think 5 successive European Cup's (from 1956-60) is an incredible achievement and unlikely to be equalled or bettered. The most any team has done since then is 3 consecurtive wins (Ajax 1971-73 and Bayern 1974-76)

champkind (U11953885) posted Oct 10, 2008 if you look at the record of the teams mentioned in the original post they went long term unbeaten and finished with trophies. the arsenal team of that season did well but in comparsion they are no where near the great teams.
