If whoever Ashley sells to go and bring back Keegan then Newcastle in my opinion deserve to be relegated for being so stupid. Forget the messiah business, what Newcastle need (though how they're going to manage this is another thing) is a quality manager with a PROVEN record of WINNING things - yes WINNING trophies not being perenial losers. Keegan has shown time and again that when the pressure bites he's off. This is not the behaviour of a manager who has confidence in their abilities or who really knows what they're doing anyway. Until Newcastle get past the failed messiah obsession they won't move forward. Ultimately it's their choice (the fans) but if Keegan returns again he'll only walk out a THIRD time in six months or a yrs time. Is this what Newcastle want? a serial quitter?

Hopefully if Kevin Keegan was ever to be offered his old job back, he would have enough character and personal integrity to refuse the offer. I can't see this guy ever being part of a successful NUFC future!

Lets get one thing straight Tony Jimenez does the deals. Jeff Vetere scouts the players. Who knows what Denis Wise does? The wrong one left Tony Jimenez and Jeff Vitere have made some resonable signings.

grr

I'm a villa fan, all you Newcastle fans need to get a grip. Keegan din't do anything special when he came back and is not the greatest manager in the world. As for a chairman goes, you need a chairman who loves the club and dosen't want to make a quick profit e.g Randy Lerner

Thing is mollie, you AREN'T SUPPORTING IT!!!
Look at all the empty seats now. Think how many more you'll have this time next year when you're at home to Plymouth Argyle and Doncaster Rovers.

(To>>>somepunk)

"Tony Jimenez (born 1965 in Brixton) is a London-based property developer and former Vice President (Player Recruitment) for Newcastle United. He is a millionaire because of a series of property developments, which have included hotels and golf courses in Spain and Dubai."

As newcastle are not playing monopoly, but football i fail to see what tony is doing at newcastle, we dont need mayfair or picadilly, we need quality players, good old tony is a football groupy or hanger on, or pub know it all, keegan knows about players he is not a estate agent like tony, regards.
